    Österreichische PATENTSCHRIFT ? 17517.

     FERNAND HOUGET IN VERVIERS (BELGIEN).

    Austrian PATENT LETTERING? 17517.

     FERNAND HOUGET IN VERVIERS (BELGIUM).

Tubes for creating false wire in spinning machines.

The present invention relates to a tube for producing false wire in continuously operating spinning machines, which differs from the previously known tubes with a free outlet opening in that the outlet end of the tube is widened like a funnel and that the tube is inclined so that the entrainment of the same passing The thread only takes place when the tube is turned by touching the inner wall.

In the accompanying drawing, FIG. 1 shows the overall arrangement of the device in view; Fig. 2 shows on a larger scale in section a further embodiment of the tube.

The thread 1 coming from the feed rollers 2 goes over the glass rod 3 into the incision. J of the tube 5, which it leaves at the other end in order to be gripped by the stretching rollers 6. The tube is driven in the usual way by a cord 7 coming from a drum 8 and passing over a whorl 9. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the inner wall of the tube is completely smooth and the outlet opening 11 is widened to six or seven times the size of the thread diameter and is completely free, ie. 11. It is by no special one
Part blocked.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the inner wall of the outlet opening of the tube 5 is provided with channels 12 which have the purpose of making it easier to take the thread through the wall of the tube. As a result of the rotation of the
Tubes 5, these grooves help to take the thread with it and to twist it together so that it receives the rotation necessary for stretching.

These channels can be more or less numerous and their shape, length, depth,
The width and direction can be changed depending on how the tube is used.

You can be made by recesses in the wall of the tube 5 or by
Attachment of small sticks, which protrude into the interior of the tube, are formed. The inner shape of the tube can be circular, oval, or any
Be cross-section.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Tube for the production of false wire in spinning machines, characterized in that the outlet opening of the tube widens like a funnel and is arranged opposite the drying rollers in such a way that the rotation of the thread about its axis takes place as a result of the thread rolling on the inner wall of the enlargement of the tube.
