Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   The subject of the parent patent No. 293112 is a friction spring, which consists of a plurality of inner and outer rings layered in the direction of the application of force, with radially slotted resilient inner rings alternating with rigid outer rings and with the outer rings interacting with the inner rings with sliding surfaces inclined towards the axis Have generative. In the parent patent it is protected that the sliding surface of the inner rings and possibly the sliding surface of the outer rings have kinked generatrices or curved generatrices at the contact points, and essentially linear contact occurs at the contact points. This shape of the rings makes it possible to change the spring characteristics as desired and to adapt them to the requirements, and to create a spring with greater working capacity.

   A prerequisite for this is that the resilient inner rings on the one hand are subjected to a relatively large deformation, but on the other hand have sufficient strength to absorb large forces.

   The deformation path of the resilient inner rings is inevitably reduced when they are designed with a large cross section.

   The present invention aims to improve such a spring and consists essentially in that the resilient inner rings are divided radially into two ring parts which lie tightly against one another. In this way, the inner part of the inner ring can be deformed independently of the outer part of the inner ring, since the two ring parts can move relative to one another during the deformation. The possible deformation path is thus increased, while the deformation resistance consists of the sum of the deformation resistance of both ring parts. According to the invention, the inner ring part expediently consists of a material with a higher yield point than the outer ring part in order to take into account the occurring deformation.

   According to the invention, the arrangement is expediently made such that the inner ring part and the outer ring part with profiled ring surfaces bear against one another and are secured against axial displacement relative to one another.

   The invention is illustrated schematically in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment. The drawing shows an axial section through a spring.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Friction spring, which consists of a plurality of inner and outer rings layered in the direction of the force application, with radially slotted resilient inner rings alternating with rigid outer rings and with the outer rings having sliding surfaces interacting with the inner rings with generators inclined towards the axis and the sliding surface the inner rings and possibly the sliding surface of the outer rings have kinked generatrix or curved generatrix at the points of contact and essentially line contact occurs at the points of contact according to patent no.293112, because by virtue of the fact that the resilient inner rings (2) radially in two Ring parts (2a, 2b) are divided, which lie tightly against one another.
