Die Brennstoff-Einspritzung muss zur Erreichung dieses Zieles plötzlich und im gegebenen Augenblick beendet sein, es wird daher der Brennstoffstrahl nicht durch den Pumpenkolbenrückgang, sondern durch Ableitung des Druckes über dem Zerstäuberventil in den Überlauf durch Öffnen des überlaufventiles g unterbrochen. Sobald der Druck sich nach dem Überlauf hin äussern kann, muss die verhältnismässig starke Feder des Zerstäuberventiles dieses schliessen und weiteren Brennstoffaustritt aus dem Zerstäuber verhindern. Nachdem die Zündung stattgefunden, erfolgt beim dritten Hub die Expansion und im vierten Hub der Auspuff der Abgase.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : t. Verbrennungskraftmaschine mit Selbstzündung, bei der die Einspritzung des flüssigen Brennstoffes in den Zylinder mittels des Kolbens der Brennstoffpumpe durch eine Zerstäubungsduse an der Mündung des Pumpenzylinders erfolgt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Ver- brennungsraum, m den der Brennstoff eingespritzt und zerstäubt wird, der Form des austretenden Brennstoffstrahles angepasst ist, um eine vollkommene Vermischung des Öles mit der Luft zu erzielen.
