Method and device for flushing the bottom of the borehole and for conveying the drilling mud during impact drilling.

The invention relates to a method for flushing the bottom of the borehole and for conveying the Bohrscluammes during impact drilling and consists in that, by introducing compressed air into the hollow drill rod, the water contained therein is displaced through an opening provided in the rod and closed by a check valve, whereupon When the compressed air supply is suddenly interrupted, the column of water rising in the drill pipe carries the drilling mud up from the bottom of the borehole and deposits it in a mud pipe. In the present device, the sliding scissors consist of two tubes inserted one inside the other, of which the inner tube, which is correspondingly lengthened upwards, is guided through lugs in slots in the outer tube.

The opening of the drill pipe, through which the water is displaced from the same, is closed with a sleeve made of elastic material.

In the drawing, the device for carrying out the method is shown in an exemplary embodiment, namely in the same: A the flushing head, B the drill rod, S the mud collecting pipe, F the sliding cutter, Sg the drill collar and M the chisel for the flushing bore . At a distance of h below the water level, an opening 1 is provided in the drill pipe, which is closed with the sleeve Jlt, which is made of elastic material. The sludge collecting pipe S is equipped with a valve K, which can be designed as a flap valve or as a ball valve. This valve can optionally also be accommodated in the heavy eye, at the point marked with 0 p.

The sliding scissors F consists of two nested tubes, of which the inner one is extended beyond the head K in order to create a line connecting the top tube linkage with the drill collar.

The device works in the following way: Compressed air is pressed through the flushing head 4 into the hollow drill pipe. whereby the load in the drill pipe
