Verfahren zur Herstellung von Zierstücken aus Glas.
Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung mehrfarbiger Zierstücke aus Glas, bei welchem die an sich bekannte Verfahrens- w.'ise. mehrfarbige Glasstückchen durch Schmelzprozess miteinander zu vereiningen, Anwendung findet.
Gegenüber den bekannten Verfahren dieser Art unterscheidet sich der Erfindungsgegenstund dadurch, dass die aneinander gelegten Zierstückchen während des Schmelzens nicht nur miteinander vereinigt, sondern auch der endgiltigen Form des Zierstückes entsprechend geformt werden und im fertigen Zustande ohne gemoinschaftliche Tragplatte und ohne Umhüllung durch ein durchsichtiges Matet ial, wie Opalglas oder dgl., ausschliesslich durch den Schmelzprozess aneinander haften, das Zierstück selbst als Ganzes bilden.
Dies wird gemäss der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, dass man zwei oder mehr ver- schiedenfarbige Glasstucke in einer der Form des Zierstückes entsprechenden Schablone oder dgl. aneinander anliegend gehalten dem Feuer ausgesetzt werden, wodurch die Gasstücko zusammengeschmolzen und in die gewünschte Form gebracht werden, so dass sie aus der Schablone oder dgl. herausgenommen, ohne ein besonderes Bodensfück und ohne eine Umhüllung ein festes Zierstück selbst bilden.
Durch dieses Verfahren lassen sich Knöpfe, Ringe oder andersartige Schmuckstücke, Stäbe für Lusterbehang und andere Glaswaren iu einfachster Weise herstellen, wobei die metallenen Befestigungsmittel, wie z. B. die Ösen oder Hüisen gleichzeitig mit dem Zusammensehmelzen der Glasstücke eingesetzt und am Zierstück befestigt werden. Die aneinander zu schmelzenden Glasstücke können z.
