Schreibtafel.
. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Sehreibtafel zum Schreiben mit Schieferstiften (Griffeln) oder Kreide, die im wesentlichen aus Zementzellulose (aus den Grundsubstanzen Zement und Zellulose im Rotationspressverfahren oder nur im Pressverfahren hergestellten Platten) oder Asbestzellulose besteht.
Gemäss der Erfindung wird während des Mischverfahren die zur Herstellung der Tafeln dienende Masse durch Zusatz und homogene Verteilung von metallischen Farben (Erdfarben) bzw. organischen Farbstoffen völlig durchgefärbt.
Um die Masse der Tafel widerstandsfähiger zu machen, kann man ihr pulverisierten Bimsstein, p üverisierten Schwerspat und andere pulverisierte Materialien von grösserer Härte als der zur Verwendung gelangende Schieferstift (Griffel, Kreide) zusetzen.
Gemäss dem abgeänderten Verfahren werden zuerst ungefärbte Platten aus den obenerwähnten Materialien hergestellt und so dann nur an der Oberläche dadurch schwarz gefärbt, dass man diese Platten in Kesseln kocht, welche den Farbstoff in einer geeigneten Flüssigkeit gelost oder fein verteilt enthalten.
Durch diesen Kochprozess wird eine ausserordentlich gleichmässige und sogar etwas unter die Oberfläche eindringende Färbung der Tafeln erzielt. Zweckmässig setzt man dem Kesselinhalt etwas Glaubersalz (auch Kochsalz) sowie Kaliumbichromat zu.

This cooking process results in an extremely even coloring of the bars that even penetrates slightly below the surface. It is advisable to add some Glauber's salt (including table salt) and potassium dichromate to the contents of the kettle.
