Elektrischer Drehschalter.

Electric rotary switch.
The invention relates to electrical switches for variable switching. It is already known to produce circuits using contact balls, but the new thing about the subject of the application is that the balls rest in circularly recessed holders and are resiliently pressed against the rotatable switch body by spherical sector-shaped recessed leaf springs. The plate fittings of the holding body that are conductively connected to the contact points can be conductively connected to one another by the heads of screws which can be inserted into polishing ribs between the plate fittings. In this way, different types of switching can be achieved.
In addition to the possibility of setting as an off switch, toggle switch, cross switch and series switch, the switch offers absolute security against incorrect switching and short circuits.
In the drawing, FIGS. 1 and 2 show the switch in front and side views in natural size. 3 shows the switch with the closure cover lifted off in a larger-scale view, FIG. 4 shows the switch in section along the line A-A in FIG. 3 and FIG. 5 shows the retaining disk in a view from below.
EMI1.1
covered with steel balls o, which in turn are pressed against the contact sleeves e by leaf springs p. Rings q are placed over them to guide the balls. which how the springs p to plates
EMI1.2
the balls are pressed into the next contact sleeve and make immediate contact again.
. PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Electrical rotary switch, in which the circuits are made using contact balls, characterized in that the balls (0) rest in circularly recessed holders (q) and resiliently from spherical sector-shaped recessed leaf springs (1)) on the rotatable switch bodies (e) be pressed.
