Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Stahlzylindern mit aufgeschrumpftem Aluminiunnippenmantel für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen. das dadurch gekenn- zeichnet ist, dass das Einarbeiten der Kühlrippen in den Aluminiumvollmantel erst nach Aufschn mpfung desselben auf den Stahlzylinder erfolgt, wodurch dem Auftreten von inneren Spannungen im Ali'minr'm- mantel vorgebeugt wird.
Derartige innere Spannungen, welche letzten Endes zu einem Bruche des
Rippenmantels führen, treten bei den bekannten Verfahren des Aufschrfmpfens eines Alrminirm- rippenmantels auf einen Stahlzylinder infolge der ungleichmässigen Zusammenziehung des Mantels auf. welche durch die unregelmässige Gestalt und Massenverteilung bei einem bereits mit Rippen versehenen Mantel bedingt ist.
In der Zeichnung ist ein nach der Erfindung hergestellter Stahlzylinder mit Aluminiumrippenmantel in einem Längsschnitt dargestellt.
Auf den mit glatt polierter Aussenfläche hergestellten Stahlzylinder A, dessen Kopf mit einer Kappe C versehen ist, welche die die Ein-und Austrittskanäle 01 02 bildenden Hauben und die Einund Austrittsbohrungen A3 und A4 enthält ; wird ein innen ebenfalls glatt ausgedrehter Aluminiumvollmantel D in bekannter Weise aufgeschrumpft, in welchen sodann die Kühlrippen D'eingearbeitet werden.
