Abstract
The invention relates to a low temperature heating boiler for burning liquid or gaseous fuels, consisting of a water-bearing housing (10) which is passed through by at least one pipe (30) which delimits the combustion-bearing and/or gas-bearing space (20, 20') and in which a number of annular inserts (40) made of metal material are arranged, which cover the inner wall of the pipe. To achieve the aim that, for the purpose of preventing precipitation of condensation, the annular inserts, which are situated in the pipe and have a large mass and thus a high heat-absorption capacity, are to adapt automatically, with regard to their heat-conducting contact with the pipe, to the temperature conditions present at the offtake section, and in particular associated with the condition that this adaptation is to take place in the region of a direct heat conduction between the inserts and the water-cooled wall, at least the annular inserts (40) which are arranged in the offtake region are according to the invention formed from a metal material, the coefficient of expansion and heat conductivity of which are greater than those of the pipe (30), and these inserts (40), which are inserted into the pipe (30) with a loose sliding fit, are dimensioned in such a manner with regard to the inner diameter of the pipe that, as the heating of the inserts (40) increases, these bear against the pipe (30) with a press fit after the start phase. <IMAGE>
