Abstract

The wall mounted light fitting fixing device includes the base plate (1) which is intended to be fixed to the wall by two screws (100) passing through slots (12) at either end of the plate. Recesses (11) are provided to receive the screw head. The plate is made of a thermally and electrically insulating material, with a hook (2) extending along its top edge. This allows a half-circular bowl to be attached in order to form an uplighter. Behind the base plate there is a cavity for the electrical connections, linking the fitting to wiring within the wall. A bulb socket (6) may be attached to a bracket (7) on the base plate.
