Abstract

The chair has one or more support element fixings (17) at the rear end of the seat cushion, for securing respective elastic support elements (18), each provided with a coil spring element (20) extending along its length and used for supporting a number of vertically spaced shaped.elements (21) extending across the width of the seat backrest, which can be coupled together via vertical elastic stiffening elements (26). The lower shaped elements and/or the stiffening elements are coupled to one or more pivot levers (27), with a limited pivot movement, adjusted via a setting element (30).
