Abstract

The table has a top supported by a telescopically extendable leg with a floor stand. A reversible locking unit (13) reversibly locks the extension of the leg. The locking unit has two jaws (20,21) that act on opposite parts (22,23) of a same convex portion of an inner unit of the leg. A jaw is thread coupled to a pivot (30) that is coupled to a hub (31) of an actuation hand wheel. The other jaw is arranged between the hub. The jaws of the locking unit move substantially parallel to the axis of the pivot. The pivot draws the former jaw onto the inner unit and the latter jaw in contact with the inner unit, during the locking of the leg.
