Abstract

The catalyser has a housing (2) for a catalyser insert (3) for connection into the exhaust gas system via an inlet (6) and an outlet (7) with an inlet and an outlet funnel (8,9). The cross-section of the exhaust gas system upstream and downstream of the catalyser is smaller than that of the catalyser housing, which is made in one piece with the funnels as a cold-drawn part.
