Abstract

The fire damper has outlets, channels or wall openings and a flap housing (11) with an aperture (14), which forms a section of the flow channel in the installed condition of the fire protection damper. A tiltable stored flap (12) is provided in the flap housing around an axis of rotation (A), whose form and size is adapted to the interior cross section of the aperture. A driver is provided to close the flap and provided as a spring mechanism (13), and that an electromagnet (15) holds the flap in a pre-loading open position against the spring mechanism.
