Abstract

An internal gear pump is disclosed, in which the high and low pressure zones (M,A) are separated from each other by inserts (9,14) preferably acting only on a section of the externally toothed gear (4) at a short distance from the suction zone (A), and acting only on a section of the internally toothed crown gear (3) at a short distance from the delivery side, the whole in such a manner that any friction produced by the said sealing inserts (9,14) will be of a limited amount, and will be in substantially opposite positions with respect to the axes of rotation of the gears (3,4), so that the heat resulting from any such friction will be evenly distributed to the several components of the pump, which therefore can be operated with no inconvenience even at any very high pressure value.
