Abstract

Clamping device for ensuring the contact and securing of the inner conductor of a coaxial cable in a coaxial cable connection device, with a lower clamping piece and an upper clamping piece which can be screwed tight against the lower clamping piece, in which the lower clamping piece is designed as a support element of insulating material and carries on its upper side a continuation connection contact, on which the cable inner conductor lies. At least one (9) of the components participating in the clamping of the inner conductor is designed and/or held by spring action in the clamping direction against the cable inner conductor (1). If the connection contact is designed as a longitudinally/extending contact element which runs transversely to the longitudinal axis of the inner conductor on the support element, the contact element (9) is held by spring action in relation to the support (3) in such a way that its surface which makes contact with the cable inner conductor (1) in the non-clamping rest position projects in relation to the surface of the support element.
