Abstract

Kit for a door case, comprising two vertical parts and a transverse part, which can be fitted between the two upper ends of the latter by means of connecting screws, the two vertical parts and the transverse part in each case being mitred at their corner ends (20; 30), to be joined to each other in pairs. Through each corner end (20; 30) there is cut perpendicularly to the cutting plane of the mitre cut (23; 33) a groove (24; 34), which runs in the central region of the soffit member (21; 31), the grooves (24; 34) of a pair of corner ends (20, 30) being congruent and in line with each other however in the longitudinal direction of the mitre cut (23; 33) when the door case is in the assembled state. Through each pair of corner ends (20, 30) there is also fitted into the grooves (24, 34) a rigid, strip-shaped insert piece (4), the width of which is approximately equivalent to twice the depth of the groove (24; 34) and the thickness of which is equivalent to the width of the groove (24; 34). <IMAGE>
