La présente invention a pour objet un appareil régulateur de dents de scies .permettant ,lors** qu'on a donné la voie aux scies,de régler la denture et en même temps de lui donner un taillant tout spécial.
Cet appareil permet d'obtenir un sciage par- fait et régulier,une résistance de sciage sensiblement diminuée,une économie de force motrice,de temps et une production supérieure dans le même laps de temps,

Afin de rendre aussi claires que possible les explications qui vont suivre,on a représenta ,à titre d'- exemple,sur le dessin annexé, une forme d'exécution du dispositif qui fait l'objet de l'invention.
La figure 1 en est une vue en élévation le mon- trant en position de travail,

L'appareil est formé de bras métalliques 1 et 2, fixés solidement dans une pièce de bois 3 qui vient re- poser sur la table 4 de la machine. A l'extrémité des bras I et 2 sont fixées ,au moyen de parties en aluminium
5 et 6 ,des pierres spéciales 7 et 8 qui viennent frot- ter sur les deux côtés de la denture de la scie 9,tout en laissant libre,par leur disposition, la voie que peut et doit avoir la scie. L'écartement de fes pierres est maintenu par une vis 10,réglée par l'écrou à oreilles II.
Il suffira donc du ,pour régler la denture ,chaque fois qu'on aura donné la voie aux dents d'une scie,de faire tourner la vis 10 de quelques tours ,pour appliquer lé- gèrement les pierres 7 et 8 aux deux cotés de la denture -9. L'appareil étant ainsi réglé,on tournera lentement à la main,de quelques tours ,la soie dans le sens inverse de sens des dents.La denture sera alors réglée et un taillant spécial sera ainsi obtenu,
On conçoit ainsi facilement que la scie tour- nera plus aisément dans le bois,qu'aucunacoup ne se pro- duira pendant la marche ,que le sciage ainsi obtenu sera régulier et lisse et que l'ouvrier ne perdra pas de temps à varloper les faces du bois,comme cela se produit actuel- lement.

Il est bien entendu que l'appareil représenté sur les figures du dessin n'est donné qu'à simple titre d'exemple et qu'on pourra lui apporter des modifications de montage en vue de l'adapter à tous les gabres de scies, sans sor- ti- pour cela du cadre de l'invention.
C'est ainsi que la disposition représentés est prévue pour une scie circulaire et que l'emploi d'une sfie à ruban ou d'une soie alternative nécessitera un autre montage de l'appareil.Il en sera de même pour les diffé. rents travaux auxquels cet appareil régulateur sera uti- lisé.

It is understood that the apparatus shown in the figures of the drawing is given only by way of example and that it will be possible to make mounting modifications to it with a view to adapting it to all saw templates, without thereby departing from the scope of the invention.
Thus, the arrangement shown is intended for a circular saw and the use of a band sfie or an alternative tang will require another assembly of the apparatus. It will be the same for the diffe. recent jobs for which this regulating device will be used.
