Le principe est basé sur la force centrifuge.
-Le linge est fixe, l'eau seule est en mouvement.
Dans une cuve, un panier mobile percé d'une multitude de trous semblable aux paniers d'essoreuses est actionné par un moteur placé sous le foyer.
Le linge placé dans le panier avec une quantité d'eau dé- terminée est mis à bouillir; après ébullition le gaz est fermé, le moteur . est mis en mouvement au moyen 4'un interrupteur unique, le panier tourne, l'eau est projetée hors du panier et monte contre les parois verticales de la cuve le couvercle étanche garnit de lamelle concaves en forme de spirale dirige l'eau vers le centre du couvercle et la projette dans le panier, cette eau est projetée sur le linge le traverse entraînant les souil- lures, le circuit de l'eau est continu et rapide., quelques minutes suffi- sent pour débarrasser le linge de ses impuretés, le linge étant fixe ne s'use pas par frottement.
Le linge étant propre, la.vanne est ouverte, le linge s'es- sore de son eau savonneuse, la vanne est refermée et l'eau du premier rin- çage est introduite par le trou central du couvercle, répéter l'opération pour un deuxième rinçage Ces opérations terminées la vanne est ouverte et le linge s'essore; arrêter le moteur, ouvrir le couvercle, retirer le linge qui est sec pret à être repassé.
La nouveauté de ce système est le circuit de l'eau traver- sant le linge et se répétant à une grande fréquence.. L'avantage est de supprimer douche, bassines et essoreuse et d'être remplacé par une seule machine qui fait tout le travail sans aucune manipulation.

The principle is based on centrifugal force.

The laundry placed in the basket with a certain quantity of water is put to the boil; after boiling the gas is closed, the engine. is set in motion by means of a single switch, the basket turns, the water is projected out of the basket and rises against the vertical walls of the tank the waterproof cover fitted with concave spiral lamellae directs the water towards the center of the lid and projects it into the basket, this water is sprayed onto the laundry as it passes through it causing soiling, the water circuit is continuous and rapid. A few minutes are sufficient to rid the laundry of its impurities, the laundry being fixed does not wear out by friction.
The laundry being clean, the valve is open, the laundry is sprayed with soapy water, the valve is closed and the water from the first rinse is introduced through the central hole in the cover, repeat the operation to a second rinsing Once these operations have been completed, the valve is open and the laundry is spun; stop the engine, open the cover, remove the laundry which is dry and ready to be ironed.
The novelty of this system is the water circuit passing through the laundry and repeating itself with great frequency. The advantage is to do away with the shower, basins and wringer and to be replaced by a single machine which does all the work. work without any manipulation.
