DISPOSITIF ADAPTABLE EN FORME DE CUIRASSE NOTAMMENT POUR ATELIERS DE COUTURE
ET ANALOGUES.
La présente invention est relative à un dispositif adaptable en forme de cuirasse notamment pour ateliers de couture et analogues.
Plus particulièrement elle concerne une gaine amovible s'adaptant étroitement à la forme du buste d'un sujet pour lequel un vêtement est à confectionner,le dispositif étant susceptible d'acquérir une rigidité suffisante, par exemple, pour servir, soit directement, soit après moulage, de mannequin pour la réalisation du vêtement en question.
Le dispositif suivant l'invention comporte, d'une part, des éléments reliés entre eux avec jeu, l'ensemble formant une ;sorte de gaine adaptable à la forme du buste d'un sujet, d'autre part, des organes de liaison entre lesdits éléments permettant le blocage de ces derniers dans leur position relative appropriée pour constituer une cuirasse rigide et amovible é- pôusant la forme du buste et destinée 'à servir, par exemple, de mannequin pour le contrôle.et l'ajustage d'un vêtement à confectionner.
D'autres détails et particularités ressortiront plus clairement de la description donnée ci-après, à titre d'exemple non limitatif et avec référence aux dessins annexés, d'une forme de réalisation avantageuse de l'invention.

Une gaine suivant l'invention est constituée d'éléments compor- tant notamment des disques 2 d'épaisseur appropriée, flexibles et munis de quatre coulisses radiales 4 formant entre elles un angle de 90 .
Comme représenté à la fig. 2, les disques 2 se superposent par- tiellement, une coulisse 4 d'un disque coïncidant avec une coulisse 4 d'un disque voisin.
La liaison entre les disques 2 est assurée, de préférence, par des-organes d'assemblage à vis 6 disposés dans les coulisses 4 et susceptiblet d" bloquer dans leur position relative et réciproque les différents - disques 2.
-La longueur des* coulissés 4 est suffisante pour permettre aux disques 2, en glissant partiellement les uns sur les autres, de modifier leur position respective et, en conséquence, de constituer un ensemble s'a- daptant exactement au buste à reproduire.
De plus, les disques 2 étant flexibles, il est possible de réa- liser des formes courbes moulant d'une façon parfaite le buste en question.
Les organes d'assemblage à vis 6 comportent une goupille filetée
10 et un écrou 8 extérieur à la gaine et permettant, après ajustement du dispositif à la forme du buste, de bloquer manuellement les disques 2 dans leur position respective appropriée, pour réaliser la stabilité de la forme obtenue. Afin d'accélérer la manoeuvre de serrage et de desserrage, la gou- pille-filetée 10 est rabattue à son extrémité libre, le nombre de tours à effectuer par le boulon 8 étant ainsi limité.
A la figure 1, on n'a représenté qu'une moitié latérale du dis- positif qui comporte normalement deux parties sensiblement symétriques, coïn- cidant le long d'un plan médian et vertical au buste et amovibles pour'per- ,mettre, à la fin de l'opération, de séparer le dispositif du buste.
Le dispositif comporte également un nombre approprié de rubans flexibles 12, 14, 16 et 18, munis de fentes longitudinales 20 et délimitant les contours des deux parties susdites.
Le ruban 12 forme la bande de col et comporte plusieurs segments reliés entre eux pour qu'il puisse s'adapter aux dimensions du col. Le ruban longitudinal 14, prévu à l'avant et à l'arrière du buste, constitue le bord de jonction des deux parties symétriques du dispositif. Le ruban circulaire'
16,. comportant également des segments qui permettent son ajustement au dia- mètre approprié, est destiné à former l'emmanchure. Au ruban 16 est fixé le ruban 18 délimitant le flanc du,buste. Les fentes longitudinales 20 permet- tent de relier les rubans susdits aux disques 2, à l'aide des organes d'as- semblage à vis 6.
Les deux rubans 14 de chacune des parties symétriques du dispo- sitif se relient, côte à côte et de manière amovible, aux rubans correspon- dants de l'autre partie par des entretoises 22, dont l'une des extrémités, ¯en forme de fourchette, se place sous les éqrous 8 de l'autre partie.
Au moyen d'une gaine ainsi réalisée, on peut obtenir, par exem- ple, par une coulée de, plâtre. ou analogue, un buste correspondant à celui du sujet sur lequel la cuirasse a été ajustée et permettant, en l'absence de l'intéressé, de procéder à la prise et au contrôle des mesures, ainsi qu'à l'essayage du vêtement à confectionner.

The present invention relates to an adaptable device in the form of a breastplate, in particular for sewing workshops and the like.
More particularly it relates to a removable sheath closely adapting to the shape of the bust of a subject for whom a garment is to be made, the device being capable of acquiring sufficient rigidity, for example, to be used, either directly or afterwards. molding of a mannequin for the production of the garment in question.
The device according to the invention comprises, on the one hand, elements interconnected with play, the whole forming a sort of sheath adaptable to the shape of the bust of a subject, on the other hand, connecting members between said elements allowing the blocking of the latter in their appropriate relative position to constitute a rigid and removable breastplate having the shape of the bust and intended to serve, for example, as a mannequin for the control and adjustment of a garment to be made.
Other details and features will emerge more clearly from the description given below, by way of nonlimiting example and with reference to the accompanying drawings, of an advantageous embodiment of the invention.

A sheath according to the invention consists of elements comprising in particular disks 2 of suitable thickness, flexible and provided with four radial slides 4 forming an angle of 90 between them.
As shown in fig. 2, the discs 2 are partially superimposed, a slide 4 of a disc coinciding with a slide 4 of a neighboring disc.
The connection between the discs 2 is provided, preferably, by screw-assembling members 6 arranged in the slides 4 and susceptible to block in their relative and reciprocal position the various discs 2.
-The length of the * slides 4 is sufficient to allow the discs 2, by sliding partially on each other, to modify their respective position and, consequently, to constitute an assembly that adapts exactly to the bust to be reproduced.
In addition, the disks 2 being flexible, it is possible to produce curved shapes perfectly molding the bust in question.
The screw fasteners 6 have a threaded pin
10 and a nut 8 outside the sheath and allowing, after adjusting the device to the shape of the bust, to manually lock the discs 2 in their respective appropriate position, to achieve the stability of the shape obtained. In order to accelerate the tightening and loosening maneuver, the threaded pin 10 is folded back at its free end, the number of turns to be performed by the bolt 8 thus being limited.
In FIG. 1, only a lateral half of the device has been shown which normally comprises two substantially symmetrical parts, coinciding along a median plane and vertical to the bust and removable to allow, put on, at the end of the operation, to separate the device from the bust.
The device also comprises an appropriate number of flexible tapes 12, 14, 16 and 18, provided with longitudinal slots 20 and delimiting the contours of the two aforementioned parts.
The tape 12 forms the neck band and has several segments connected together so that it can adapt to the dimensions of the neck. The longitudinal strip 14, provided at the front and at the rear of the bust, constitutes the junction edge of the two symmetrical parts of the device. The circular ribbon '

The two tapes 14 of each of the symmetrical parts of the device are connected, side by side and in a removable manner, to the corresponding tapes of the other part by spacers 22, one of the ends of which is ¯ in the form of a fork, is placed under the nuts 8 of the other part.
By means of a sheath thus produced, it is possible to obtain, for example, by a casting of plaster. or the like, a bust corresponding to that of the subject on which the breastplate has been adjusted and allowing, in the absence of the interested party, the taking and checking of the measurements, as well as the fitting of the garment to make up.
