Abstract

Method of making an electrical conductor wire with a core of Al and a sheath of copper, where a billet comprising a core of Al and sheath of copper is extruded at is not >400 degrees C. At these temps. good liaison between the two metals is found possible without excessive diffusion of one into the other.
