Abstract

The invention consists of a double skin box of rectangular shape and it is watertight, insulated and can be set vertically on roofs of various degrees of pitch. The chimney flue passes through the box. The centre parts of the two faces of the box which run parallel to the slope of the roof have projecting studs. These studs are located above the centre of gravity of the box. The bars are placed on the roof adjacent to the studs. The bars contain slots, the bottom of which are rounded to receive the studs. In this way the box is made to hang vertically and the flue is installed.

Description

that its upper face allow passage through the volume of a chimney flue (n [deg.] 4).

The Roof Pass is versatile in that it adapts to all roof inclinations thanks to its tilting device.

Two of the opposing faces of the box (the four faces in the case of a box with a rectangular base) are each provided with a stud (n [deg.] 9) arranged on a central axis raised with respect to the center of gravity of the box.

The point of application of the two opposing studs are two notches having a semicircular bottom corresponding to the diameter of the studs, located in the middle of the longitudinal members.

A cutout corresponding to the dimensions of the box is made in

the roof. At the edge of the opening and in the direction of the slope are

Around the part in the open air (n [deg.] 4) is arranged a duct of the same height but of upper section in such a way

The installation of the chimney pass is a skilled labor, a single person can do the assembly given the low weight of each part.

Thanks to the thick layer of insulation placed between the two walls of the box, the flammable materials of the roof are perfectly insulated from any thermal radiation.

- The Passe-Toiture is designed to withstand all weather conditions.
- Thanks to its simplicity of design, the Passe-Toiture remains removable.

In addition, the Passe-Toiture presents a range of models suitable for different types of chimneys:

A Rectangular section box with rectangular chimney opening.

B Rectangular section box with one or more circular or rectangular or square chimneys.

C Square section box with square chimney opening.

 <EMI ID = 10.1>

N.B. The rectangular section box can be installed lengthwise

or in width in relation to the slope of the roof.
