Abstract

The power generation apparatus is used in both thermal and nuclear power plants. This equipment provides cooling of the heat-transfer agent after it leaves the heat source, and improves the reliability of heat removal from the power loop. The apparatus includes a heat source and a steam generator (2) connected by circulation lines (2 and 3) and circulation pump (4), which form the first loop, which is housed in airtight containment vessel (19), air condenser (8), which includes an air supply device connected to steam generator (5) by lines (9 and 10). A hydroaccumulator tank (20) is also connected to the first loop. Containment vessel (19) is thermally insulated. Circulation lines (2) and (3) are inclined downward from steam generator (5) to the heat source.<IMAGE>
