Abstract

<B>DISPOSITIVO DE ABSORçãO MODULáVEL DE ENERGIA DE UMA COLUNA DE DIREçãO DE AUTOMóVEL<D> Um dispositivo de absorção modulável de energia de uma coluna de direção de automóvel compreende uma árvore de direção montada em um tubo-corpo ligado a um conjunto sustentado fixado no chassis do veículo. O sistema de absorção de energia modulável consiste de um certo número desejado de enrolamentos (41, 42, 43) de uma seção determinada. Um elemento de sustentação móvel (9) é ligado a um elemento de sustentação fixo (8) que é solidário com o chassis do veículo, a fim de constituir o conjunto de sustentação e o elemento de sustentação móvel (9) é travado sobre o elemento de sustentação fixo (8) com um valor determinado. Os enrolamentos (41, 42, 43) são ligados a um eixo de retenção (5) e a um eixo de engate (7). O eixo de engate (7) é constituído por uma haste de manutenção (31) que é móvel segundo seu eixo por intermédio de acionador elétrico (30), de maneira a desenrolar o ou os enrolamento(s) em questão em caso de choque.
