Abstract
"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA VERIFICAR A INTEGRIDADE DE VIA FéRREA". Um sistema de controle de trem inclui um módulo de controle que determina uma posição de um trem usando um sistema de posicionamento e consulta um banco de dados para determinar quando o trem está se aproximando de uma parte da via monitorada por um circuito de via. Quando o trem está se aproximando do circuito de via, mas enquanto o trem está ainda suficientemente afastado do circuito de via de modo que o trem pode ser parado antes de atingir a parte da via monitorada pelo circuito de via, o trem transmite uma mensagem de interrogação a um transceptor associado com o circuito de via. Quando o circuito de via recebe a mensagem de interrogação, é iniciado um teste. Os resultados do teste são transmitidos de volta ao trem, que então toma alguma forma de ação corretiva se o circuito de via indica um problema.
