Abstract

"MATERIAIS DE ATRITO DIFERENTES DO AMIANTO" Trata-se de um material de atrito diferente do amianto produzido por moldagem e cura de uma composição composta de uma base fibrosa, um aglutinante e uma carga, com um valor de fator de amortecimento à vibração de 100 Hz (<sym> tan) a 300°C menos <sym> tan a 50°C de pelo menos -0,030. O aglutinante pode ser uma resina orto-fenólica superior modificada com borracha, uma mistura de resina de uma resina orto-fenólica superior modificada com borracha e uma resina fenólica modificada com borracha, ou uma mistura de resina de duas ou mais resinas fenólicas modificadas com borracha. O material de atrito possui um excelente desempenho de eliminação de ruído de longa duração e boa resistência ao desgaste, estabilidade funcional e resistência à falha. A capacidade de cura rápida da composição permite um curto ciclo de moldagem.
