Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO E PLANTIO EX VITRO SUBSEQuENTE DE EMBRIõES SOMáTICOS DE PLANTAS PRé-GERMINADAS". Processo de produção de mudas somáticas a partir de um embrião somático. O processo compreende a pré-germinação de embriões somáticos, colocação dos embriões somáticos pré-germinados em um estado de dormência fisiológica, semeadura dos embriões somáticos pré-germinados fisiologicamente dormentes sobre ou em um meio de germinação e a propagação dos embriões somáticos pré-germinados semeados em condições ambientais manipuladas para facilitar a inibição, a germinação e o desenvolvimento em mudas completas possuindo raízes e brotos. Vantajosamente, o processo pode ser executado com embriões "nus" (isto é, não-encapsulados ou embriões revestidos de outro modo) usando-se equipamento de manuseio de sementes convencional, misturas de crescimento e ambientes de propagação de plantas. O processo não exige o uso de técnicas assépticas ou equipamento ou meios esterilizados. A invenção também refere-se a embriões pré-germinados e mudas produzidas pelo processo.
