Abstract

"CABO SUPERCONDUTOR, ELEMENTO SUPERCONDUTOR, E, PROCESSO PARA LIMITAR AS TENSõES DE TRAçãO AO LONGO DE UMA DIREçãO LONGITUDINAL" Cabo supercondutor 1 que compreende: (a) uma camada 20 de fitas que compreendem material supercondutor; (b) um elemento tubular 6 para suportar dita camada 20 de fitas que compreendem material supercondutor; (c) um circuito de resfriamento adaptado para resfriar o material supercondutor até uma temperatura de trabalho não maior do que sua temperatura crítica; caracterizado pelo fato de dito elemento tubular 6 ser composto e compreender uma quantidade predeterminada de um primeiro material que tem um primeiro coeficiente de expansão térmica e um segundo material que tem um coeficiente de expansão térmica mais elevado do que aquele de dito primeiro material, ditos coeficientes de expansão térmica e ditas quantidades de dito primeiro e segundo materiais sendo predeterminadas, de tal maneira que dito elemento tubular tem uma retração térmica global entre a temperatura ambiente e dita temperatura de trabalho do cabo de modo a provocar uma deformação de ditas fitas, que compreendem material supercondutor, mais baixa do que a deformação crítica das mesmas fitas.
