EGG PACKAGING WITH ARTICULATED RECEPTOR CUPS

This invention patent deals with the Invention of an Egg Packer with Articulated Receiving Cups, which received interesting and important improvements with innovative characteristics, in order to offer a series of technical, practical and functional advantages, and make it more efficient and with greater operational resources, in order to perform more efficiently the functions for which it was developed, fully satisfying the proposed objectives.

This new egg packer has hinged recipient cups to arrange the eggs in the trays with greater smoothness and precision in the nesting position on the tray. It also has a flexible and universal peak turner for any type of eggs (sizes and weights), making the wrapper a unique pattern to be built and regulated.

An adaptation of the wrapper can also be carried out with egg straightening discs, which is already widely known for turning the beak of eggs downwards, adapting them to the hinged recipient cups to place the eggs in the tray smoothly and accurately.

- The wrapper has the function of placing the eggs in trays with up to six eggs in line, and can be adapted to place five, four or three eggs in line.

The packaging in question is assembled with the following devices: tray dispenser located at its rear; main control panel also located at the rear with a main membrane and

2/8 operating buttons; side guide adjuster close to the panel; body of the packer where the eggs are received and prepared to be packaged; hinged receiver cups for C & pack the eggs directly in the tray; tray closure of 12 eggs or 18 eggs (egg case); exit mat for egg trays; secondary operating panel also with a membrane with buttons.

This packer can be coupled with an egg sorter with chain, or a sorter by bars or conveyor strips, and together with an egg exit belt before entering the packer.

The articulated recipient cups of the packer provide greater smoothness and precision when packing eggs. These articulated recipient cups have an up and down movement, with the aim of picking up eggs with the beaks down and placing them in the tray. They also have a simultaneous movement of the opening and closing to the sides, with the objective of searching for eggs in 3 ”(76.2mm) and closing them to 48mm, standard distance of eggs in the tray. These two measures can be varied for each case or type of tray. The cups can be made of plastic material or any type of metallic material, and can be coated with some film or rubber to reduce impacts and friction with the eggs.

The universal spout turner consists of a steel rod with a spring attached to the front, the system having a rigid and flexible feature at the same time. This universal tipper can turn or tone 3/8 bar any type of egg with the tip down in an egg support cup before entering the hinged recipient cup. For this egg changer system with the nozzles down, the packer must have a mat before the changer to place the eggs outside the center of the reel and with the nozzles turned to the side. In this way, the flexible rod will act on the rear of the egg, holding it so that the tip of the egg is loose to be the first to enter the support cup.

With the same function, the adaptation of the wrapper with spout-turning discs coupled to the articulated receiver cup system, serves to arrange the eggs in the trays. In this case, the egg passes through a pair of spout-turning discs that dispose the eggs with the beak down until the entrance of the articulated recipient cup, with the aid of lateral guides in each row of eggs, so that they do not fall, also in the commonly known packaging machine, and after the arrival of the eggs in the articulated recipient cups, they are packed in the tray with greater precision and smoothness. After the entry of the eggs in the articulated recipient cups, these are lowered and closed laterally and when it reaches the bottom of the cups, they open to release the eggs directly in the tray.

The main panel is located at the rear of the machine, to avoid the region where the eggs are transported, that is, the “dirty region” of the machine, thus avoiding electrical problems caused by improper and inappropriate cleaning of the electrical panel. On the electrical panel there is a membrane with machine operation buttons: emergency button,

4/8 on / off button, tray switch button, machine stop button and tray adjustment button.

The wrapper can be assembled in pairs, with the same chassis, to facilitate the assembly, transportation and maintenance, having a single main panel - rear panel - and a single secondary panel - front panel.

Claims (12)

1. “EGG PACKAGING WITH ARTICULATED RECEPTOR CUPS, which has articulated recipient cups (4) to arrange the eggs in the trays with precision in the position of the tray, also having a flexible and universal tip changer (18) for any type eggs (sizes and weights), characterized by the fact that the articulated recipient cups (4) have up and down movement, in order to search for the eggs with the beaks down and place them in the tray, also having a simultaneous movement to the previous one of opening and closing to the sides, in order to find the eggs stuck in 3 ”(76.2mm) and close them to 48mm, standard distance of the eggs in the tray, these two measures can be varied for each case or type tray; said articulated receiving cups (4) which can be made of plastic material or any metallic material, coated or not with some film or rubber; and have guides (27) on the rear of the hinged recipient cups (4), to guide them during the decision and close them to place the eggs in the trays. 2. EGG PACKAGING WITH ARTICULATED RECEPTOR CUPS, according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the articulated receiving cups are made up of two parts arranged in a confronting position and fixed on supports, in turn, articulated on parallel axes that allow the said receiving cups the movement of opening and closing to the sides, each part having an opening (29) to facilitate the reception and guide the eggs during reception. 6. EGG PACKAGING WITH ARTICULATED RECEPTOR CUPS, according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the universal spout turner (18) consists of a steel rod with a spring attached to the front, having a rigid and flexible feature at the same time, said universal beak changer being able to turn or tip any type of egg with the beak down in a support cup (17) of the egg before entering the articulated cup (4). 7. EGG PACKAGING WITH ARTICULATED RECEPTOR CUPS, according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that for the egg turner system with the nozzles down, the wrapper must have a mat before the turner to place the eggs outside the center of the reel and with the beaks turned to the side and in this way the flexible rod will act on the rear of the egg, holding it so that the egg beak is loose to be the first to enter the support cup (17). 8.
