Abstract

Séparateur magnétique à haute intensité
travaillant en humide comportant au moins une unité de séparation constituée par une chambre où le produit à
traiter circule du haut vers le bas et des éléments pour créer un champ magnétique perpendiculaire à la direction d'écoulement du produit à traiter. Les éléments engendrant le champ magnétique sont constitués par des aimants permanents, éventuellement associés à des pièces polaires, et des vérins sont prévus pour déplacer ces aimants, et éventuellement les pièces polaires, entre une première position où les aimants ou les pièces polaires sont intimement appliqués contre les parois de la chambre et une seconde position telle que, les aimants ou les pièces polaires étant écartés desdites parois, le champ magnétique dans la chambre est suffisamment faible pour que les particules magnétiques puissent être évacuées de la chambre par un courant d'un liquide de lavage.
