Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung einer Verbindung mit hydriertem Ringsystem. Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung einer Verbindung, deren Konstitution noch nicht feststeht, wel ches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man lIaleinsäureanhydi-id mit Indol kondensiert. Die neue Verbindung soll zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen, pharmazeutischen Produkten und Riechstoffen verwandet werden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 12 Gewichtsteile Indol und 10 Gewichts teile Maleitisä ureanhydrid werden unter länge rem Lmsohütteln in der eben ausreichenden Menge Essigester gelöst. Die Lösung nimmt unter Abkühlung eitle gelborange Färbung :in und scheidet nach zweitägigem Stehen bei Zimmertemperatur eine derbe gelbe Kri stallkruste ab, die auf Ton abgepresst wird. In gereinigtem Zustande zeigt die Verbindung den Schmelzpunkt 157 .
Die Verbindung ist durch Zusammentritt von 2 Molekülen Indol mit 1 Molekül Maleinsäureanhydrid gebildet. Der Körper ist in warmem Essigester leicht löslich und erleidet beim Erwärmen bis zum Siedepunkt der Lösung anscheinend eitle Strukturveränderung. Wird nämlich eine Probe in siedendem Essigester kurze Zeit er hitzt, so tritt zunächst Lösung ein, und ein neuer .Körper scheidet sich ab, der in Essig ester unlöslich ist.

In the purified state, the compound has a melting point of 157.
The compound is formed by the combination of 2 molecules of indole and 1 molecule of maleic anhydride. The body is easily soluble in warm ethyl acetate and apparently undergoes vain structural changes when heated up to the boiling point of the solution. If a sample is heated for a short time in boiling ethyl acetate, then first of all solution occurs and a new body separates out, which is insoluble in ethyl acetate.
