  Verfahren zur     Darstellung    eines direkt ziehenden     Disazofarbstofies.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen,  direkt ziehenden     Disazofarbstoff    erhält,  wenn man     tetrazotiertes        3,3'-Diamino-4,4'-          dioxy-5,5'-dimethyl-diphenylsulfon    mit 2  Molekülen     Phenyl-2-amino-5-naphtol-7-sulfo-          säure    kuppelt.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  31 Teile     3,3'-Diamino-4,4'-dioxy-5,5'-di-          methyl-diphenylsulfon        werden    salzsauer un  ter Zusatz von Eis mit 14 Teilen Natrium  nitrit     tetrazotiert    und mit 64     Teilen        Phenyl-          2-amino=5-naphtol-7-sulfosäure        sodaalkalisch     gekuppelt. Man lässt 24     Stunden    rühren, er  wärmt und salzt aus.  



  Der     getrocki.ete    Farbstoff ist ein     dunkel-          bronziges    Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit       blauvioletter,    in Schwefelsäure mit rot  violetter Farbe löst. Er lässt sich auf Baum  wolle direkt färben als Bordeauxrosa und  geht beim Behandeln mit Kupfersulfat in  Violett über. Denselben -Farbton erreicht  man, wenn man das Kupfersalz des Farb-         stoffes    verwendet. Die Ausfärbung ist von  hervorragender Licht- und guter Wasch  echtheit.



  Process for the preparation of a direct disazo dye. It has been found that a new, direct disazo dye is obtained when tetrazotized 3,3'-diamino-4,4'-dioxy-5,5'-dimethyl-diphenylsulfone with 2 molecules of phenyl-2-amino-5- Naphthol-7-sulfonic acid couples.

      <I> Example: </I> 31 parts of 3,3'-diamino-4,4'-dioxy-5,5'-dimethyl-diphenylsulfone are tetrazotized with 14 parts of sodium nitrite and with hydrochloric acid with the addition of ice 64 parts of phenyl-2-amino = 5-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid coupled with alkaline soda. It is left to stir for 24 hours, it is warmed up and salted out.



  The dried dye is a dark bronze powder that dissolves in water with a blue-violet color and in sulfuric acid with a red-violet color. It can be dyed directly on cotton as burgundy pink and turns purple when treated with copper sulphate. The same color shade can be achieved if the copper salt of the dye is used. The color is extremely lightfast and washfast.

PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of a direct disazo dye, characterized in that 3,3'-diamino-4,4'-di-oxy-5,5'-dimethyl-diphenylsulfone is tetrazotized and 2 molecules of phenyl-2- amino-5-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid couples. The dried dye is a dark bronzy powder that dissolves in water with a blue-violet color, in sulfuric acid with a red-violet color.

It can be dyed directly on cotton as burgundy pink and turns violet when treated with copper salt. The same color is achieved if you use the copper salt of the dye. The color is extremely lightfast and washfast.
