Description

  

  Verfahren     zur    Herstellung eines Netz-,     Dispergier-,        Emulgier-    und     Waschmittels.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man zu einem  neuen, wertvollen Netz-,     Dispergier-,        Emul-          gier-    und Waschmittel gelangen kann,

   wenn  man das durch     Reduktion    der Ester der       Kokos-    oder     Palmkernfettsäure    erhältliche       Fettalkoholgemisch    mit Chloressigsäure     ver-          estert    und dieses     Estergemisch    mit wasser  löslichen Salzen der     hydroschwefligen    Säure  umsetzt.  



  Der entstandene neue Körper stellt in  reiner Form ein     weisses,    kristallinisches Pul  ver dar, das in Wasser leicht löslich ist,       Fehlingsche    Lösung reduziert und sich als  vorzügliches Netz- und     Waschmittel    eignet.  Die von einem solchen     Tegtilhilfsprodukt     heute geforderten     Echtheiten    werden erfüllt.

    <I>Beispiel:</I>  200 Teile des im Handel befindlichen,  durch Reduktion der Palmkern- oder     Kokos-          fettsäureester    erhältlichen     Fettalkoholgemi-          sches    und 120     Teile    Chloressigsäure werden  mit Hilfe von     Salzsäuregas    verestert und  hierauf unter starkem Rühren mit der Tur  bine einer Lösung von 250 Teilen Natrium  hydrosulfit 85 % in 900 Teilen Wasser zu  gegeben und 12     Stunden    unter     Rückfluss    ge-    kocht.

   Ist die Umsetzung beendet und der       Gefässinhalt    erkaltet, so scheidet sich ein  Teil des     neuen    Produktes in halbfester Form  aus.  



  Dasselbe löst sich in Wasser klar     und     unter intensiver     Schaumbildung    und zeigt  alle von einem guten     Waschmittel    geforder  ten     Echtheiten.  



  Process for the production of a wetting, dispersing, emulsifying and washing agent. It has been found that a new, valuable wetting, dispersing, emulsifying and washing agent can be obtained,

   when the fatty alcohol mixture obtainable by reducing the esters of coconut or palm kernel fatty acid is esterified with chloroacetic acid and this ester mixture is reacted with water-soluble salts of hydrosulphurous acid.



  The resulting new body is in its pure form a white, crystalline powder that is easily soluble in water, reduces Fehling's solution and is suitable as an excellent wetting agent and detergent. The fastness properties required today of such a Tegtil auxiliary product are met.

    <I> Example: </I> 200 parts of the commercially available fatty alcohol mixture obtainable by reducing the palm kernel or coconut fatty acid esters and 120 parts of chloroacetic acid are esterified with the aid of hydrochloric acid gas and then a solution with vigorous stirring with the turbine of 250 parts of sodium hydrosulfite 85% in 900 parts of water are added and the mixture is refluxed for 12 hours.

   When the reaction has ended and the contents of the vessel have cooled down, part of the new product is deposited in semi-solid form.



  The same dissolves in water clearly and with intensive foam formation and shows all the fastness properties required of a good detergent.

Claim: Process for the production of a wetting agent, dispersing agent, emulsifying agent and detergent, characterized in that the fatty alcohol mixture obtained by reducing the esters of coconut or palm kernel fatty acid is esterified with chloroacetic acid and this ester mixture is reacted with water-soluble salts of hydrosulphurous acid. The resulting new body is in its pure form a white, crystalline powder that is easily soluble in water, reduces Fehling's solution, and is suitable as an excellent wetting agent and detergent.

The fastness properties required today of such a Tegtil auxiliary product are met.
