Description
Machine à scier le bois. La présente invention a pour objet une machine à scier le bois au moyen -d'une cir culaire.
Sa construction, quoique très simple, a pour but d'éliminer les accidents fréquents provenant du fait que le scieur doit générale ment serrer le bois dans ses mains pour l'avan cement.
Le dessin annexé représente, schématique ment et à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exé cution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. I en est une vue -de profil, la fig. II une vue :de face.
La machine représentée comprend une scie circulaire 2, actionnée par une poulie 1. Le bois 3 à scier est posé sur un châssis 5 pivoté sur un axe 6 parallèle à l'axe de la scie circulaire. L'extrémité droite du bois vient buter contre la pièce 4, qui est réglable selon la longueur du bois à scier.
La course -du châssis 5 est limitée par un arrêt 7 réglable selon la dimension transver sale du bois à scier. Le châssis comporte une pièce en bois 8 en équerre servant de support au bois à scier, qui est immobilisé dans cette équerre par un levier 9.
Le levier 9 est actionné par le levier de commande 10 agissant sur un disque 11, soli daire du levier 9 par le moyen d'une goupille 12, qui est introduite dans un des trous 13 du disque 11, le trou utilisé dépendant @de la dimension du bois.
En soulevant le .levier 10, la pièce 9 im mobilise le bois à scier 3, le châssis pivote et le bois est poussé contre la circulaire.
A l'extrémité droite de la pièce 8 est fixée une cornière 14, qui permet de supporter le bois à scier à quelques millimètres -de la cir culaire, ce qui -est nécessaire surtout pour scier le bois pour gazogène dont la longueur ne doit pas dépasser 6 à 7 centimètress.
Lors !de la coupe, le scieur n'ayant pas à maintenir le bois avec ses mains, le danger d'accident est complètement éliminé.

Its construction, although very simple, is intended to eliminate the frequent accidents resulting from the fact that the sawyer generally has to clamp the wood in his hands for advancement.
The accompanying drawing represents, schematically and by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.

The machine shown comprises a circular saw 2, actuated by a pulley 1. The wood 3 to be sawed is placed on a frame 5 pivoted on an axis 6 parallel to the axis of the circular saw. The right end of the wood abuts against part 4, which is adjustable according to the length of the wood to be sawed.
The stroke of the frame 5 is limited by an adjustable stop 7 according to the transverse dimension of the timber to be sawn. The frame comprises a square piece of wood 8 serving as a support for the lumber to be sawn, which is immobilized in this square by a lever 9.
The lever 9 is actuated by the control lever 10 acting on a disc 11, integral with the lever 9 by means of a pin 12, which is inserted into one of the holes 13 of the disc 11, the hole used depending on the dimension of wood.
By lifting the lever 10, the part 9 im mobilizes the sawn timber 3, the frame pivots and the timber is pushed against the circular.
At the right end of part 8 is fixed an angle 14, which allows to support the timber to be sawed a few millimeters from the circular, which -is necessary above all for sawing wood for gasifier, the length of which should not exceed 6 to 7 centimeters.
When cutting, the sawyer does not have to hold the wood with his hands, the danger of accident is completely eliminated.
