Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 307327. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserlöslichen und beizenziehenden Azophthalocyaninfarbstoffes. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserlösli chen und beizenziehenden Azophthalocyanin- farbstoffes, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man 1 Mol Kupferphthalocyanin-3,3'- 3",3"'-tetra-sulfochlorid mit 1 142o1 4-Amino-2- methyl-5-methoxy- 2'-oxy-1,
1'-azobenzol-3'-car- bonsäure in Gegenwart einer Mineralsäure neutralisierenden Substanz zur Umsetzung bringt. Im übrigen gelten die Ausführungen, wie sie im Hauptpatent gemacht wurden.
Das nachstehende Beispiel erläutert das neue Verfahren. Die angegebenen Teile bedeu ten Gewichtsteile.
<I>Beispiel:</I> -18,5 Teile (1/2oMol) Kupferphthalocyanin- 3,3',3",3l" - tetrasulfochlorid, erhalten durch Einwirkung von Chlorsulfonsäure auf Kup- ferphthaloeyanin, werden als feuchte Paste in eine Lösung, bestehend aus 17 Teilen (1/20 1-1o1) des Kaliumsalzes der 4-Amino-2-methyl- 5-methoxy='-oxy-1,1'-azobenzol-3'-carbonsäure in 400 Teilen Wasser und 25 Teilen Pyridin,
bei 0-5 C eingetragen und bei dieser Tem- perat .ur 24 Stunden rühren gelassen. Der Farbstoff wird durch Ansäuern abgetrennt, von anhaftenden Verunreinigungen befreit und als Natriumsalz isoliert.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein graues Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit blaugrüner und in konz. Schwefelsäure mit dunkelbrauner Farbe löst. Im Chromdruck werden blau stichig grüne Farbtöne von guten Echtheits eigenschaften erhalten.
