Abstract
Se proporcionan composiciones y métodos que proporcionan recuperación de metales como cobre, níquel, cobalto, indio y otros metales que se recuperan de relaves de minas, yacimientos in situ o desechos posteriores al consumo. Se utiliza un lixiviante que contiene amina para generar una solución acuosa del metal deseado a partir de sales insolubles presentes en el material fuente. Los metales pueden recuperarse y purificarse aún más mediante diversos procesos, incluida la extracción en un disolvente orgánico inmiscible, electrodeposición, cristalización y reducción química.
