Description

PATENTAMT.
Der Schornsteinaufsatz besteht aus einem zylindrischen Rohr G, in dem sich an vier
Seiten Windkammern D befinden, die durch leicht bewegliche Klappen E geschlossen sind.
Diese Klappen öffnen sich, wenn der Wind durch die Kammern streicht, nach innen.
Über dem Schornsteinaufsatz befindet sich ein Windrad A1 das einen Zylinder C dreht,
der auf 1Z3 bis 1Z2 seines Umfanges und in
ίο Höhe der Windkammeröffnung ausgeschnitten
ist.
Wenn nun Wind- aus irgendeiner Richtung in eine der Windkammern D dringt, so hebt
er die in dieser angebrachte Klappe E in dem
Augenblick, in dem sich die Öffnung des Zylinders C, der durch das Windrad A gedreht
wird, gegenüber der betreffenden Klappe befindet. Der Wind dringt nun mit einem Stoß
in dem Schornsteinaufsatz nach oben und reißt Rauch und Ruß mit sich fort. Die Kappe B
hilft den Abzug des Rauches erleichtern.
Sobald die Öffnung im Zylinder C die Windkammer,
aus der der Wind dringt, nicht mehr bedeckt, senkt sich die Klappe E in der Windkammer
D, und das Spiel beginnt, wenn sich der Zylinder C herumgedreht hat, von neuem.
Mit dem beschriebenen Schornsteinaufsatz wird demnach bezweckt, den Wind, der sich
zunächst in der Windkammer zusammenpreßt, nur stoßweise in den Schornstein eindringen
zu lassen und so den Zug des Schornsteins zu verbessern.
Claims (1)
- Patent-Anspruch :Schornsteinaufsatz mit in das Rauchrohr mündenden Windtrichtern, die durch vom Winde zu öffnende Klappen abgeschlossen sind, gekennzeichnet durch einen vor der Mündung der Trichter in dem Rauchrohr angebrachten, mit einer öffnung versehenen Zylinder, der durch ein Windrad in Drehung versetzt wird.Hierzu 1 Blatt Zeichnungen.
