Claims (25)
1. Skede- og kateterindretning til indføring i en patients vaskulatur, der omfatter: en skede (10) med en proksimal ende (15) og en distal ende (13), hvilken skede omfatter: et indre rør (31) med en passage (30), der strækker sig på langs derigennem, hvilken passage har en i det væsentlige ensartet diameter; en spiral (33), der omfatter et antal drejninger, der er placeret på langs omkring det indre rør, hvilke drejninger har et forudbestemt mellemrum derimellem; og et ydre rør (20), der er placeret på langs omkring spiralen (33) og forbundet til det indre rør (31) via mellemrummene (39) mellem drejningerne, hvilket ydre rør (20) omfatter et antal rørsegmenter (12, 16-18), hvor segmenterne er anbragt med faldende durometer mod den distale ende (13); hvilken indretning inkluderer et kateter (50) med en proksimal ende (51) og en distal ende (53), idet kateteret er dimensioneret til indføring i den indre rørpassage (30) og endvidere er dimensioneret, således at mindst en del af kateterets distale ende (53) strækker sig forbi den distale ende (13) af skeden (10), når kateteret (50) er indført i passagen (30); der er kendetegnet ved, at kateteret har en ydre diameter, der er 0,013 til 0,10 mm mindre end diameteren i passagen (30).
2. Indretning ifølge krav 1, hvor den ydre diameter er 0,025 til 0,076 mm mindre end passagediameteren.
3. Indretning ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor mindst den distale ende af den ydre overflade af skeden (10) er belagt med en hydrofil forbindelse.
4. Indretning ifølge krav 1, 2 eller 3, hvor mindst den distale ende af den ydre overflade af kateteret er belagt med en hydrofil forbindelse.
5. Indretning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor den distale ende af kateteret er formet til at få adgang til et kar i kroppen.
6. Indretning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor den i det væsentlige ensartede diameter af passagen ligger i intervallet fra 4 til 10 French (1,35 til 3,3 mm).
7. Indretning ifølge krav 6, hvor den i det væsentlige ensartede diameter er 5, 6 eller 7 French (1,67, 2,0 eller 2,3 mm) .
8. Indretning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor det indre rør omfatter et glidefremmende materiale.
9. Indretning ifølge krav 8, hvor det indre rør omfatter PTFE.
10. Indretning ifølge krav 9, hvor PTFE-røret har en opruet ydre overflade, og det ydre rør er bundet til det indre rør i den opruede overflade.
11. Indretning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor drejningerne er fordelt med en ensartet afstand.
12. Indretning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor spiralen er placeret med en afstand fra mindst den ene af skedens ender.
13. Indretning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor det ydre rør omfatter et varmeformbart polyamidmateriale.
14. Indretning ifølge krav 13, hvor den varmeformbare polyamid omfatter nylon.
15. Indretning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor antallet af segmenter omfatter et større segment med en højere durometer og et eller flere mindre segmenter med en lavere durometer.
16. Indretning ifølge krav 15, hvor det større segment udgør mindst 50 % af længden af det ydre rør.
17. Indretning ifølge krav 15, hvor det større segment udgør mindst 75 % af længden af det ydre rør.
18. Indretning ifølge krav 17, hvor skeden har en længde på ca. 70 til 100 cm, og hvor det ene eller de flere mindre segmenter i aggregatet udgør mindre end ca. 15 cm af skedens længde.
19. Indretning ifølge krav 15, der omfatter tre mindre segmenter, og hvor ingen af segmenterne er mere end ca. 5 cm lange.
20. Indretning ifølge krav 15, der omfatter tre mindre segmenter, og hvor durometeren for det større segment er mellem ca. 7 0 og 8 0 durometer, og hvor durometrene for de mindre segmenter ligger i intervallet mellem ca. 20 og 65.
21. Indretning ifølge krav 20, der omfatter tre mindre segmenter, hvor segmenterne har durometre i intervallet henholdsvis fra 53 til 63, fra 35 til 45 og fra 20 til 30.
22. Indretning ifølge krav 21, hvor durometeren for det større segment er ca. 75, og durometrene for de mindre segmenter er henholdsvis ca. 58, 40 og 25.
23. Indretning ifølge krav 21, hvor længderne af de mindre segmenter målt i rækkefølge fra det større segment er henholdsvis ca. 3 cm, 5 cm og 3,2 cm.
24. Indretning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor hvert af segmenterne har en proksimal ende og en distal ende, og hvor segmenterne er bundet i enderne til tilstødende segmenter.
25. Indretning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor mindst den distale ende af den ydre overflade af skeden er belagt med en hydrofil forbindelse.
