Claims (5)

1. System til at autentificere og differentiere mellem en række artikler, hvilket system omfatter et antal lysstofsammensætninger, der er i stand til at udsende stråling som reaktion på excitation med fotoner af en given energi, hvilke hver lysstofsammensætning er forbundet med en anden artikel under brug, og som omfatter: (a) et værtsgitter, (b) et doteringsmiddel og (c) en henfaldsmodificerende komponent, der er forskellig fra det nævnte doteringsmiddel og det nævnte værtsgitter, hvor hver lysstofsammensætning anvender det samme værtsgitter, doteringsmiddel og henfaldsmodificerende komponent, men hvor hver lysstofsammensætning indeholder en anden mængde af den nævnte henfaldsmodificerende komponent, således at hver lysstofsammensætning har sin egen unikke henfaldshastighed af stråling.
2. Systemet ifølge krav 1, hvor den henfaldsmodificerende komponent tilsættes til hver lysstofsammensætning i en forudbestemt mængde på mellem 1 og 10.000, fortrinsvis på mellem 1 og 1.000, mest fortrinsvis på mellem 1 og 100 dele pr. million af sammensætningen.
3. System ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 eller 2, hvor værtsgitteret, doteringsmidlet og den henfaldsmodificerende komponent af hver lysstofsammensætning er til stede i en enkelt partikel.
4. Anvendelse af systemet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3 til autentificering og differentiering mellem en række artikler.
5. Fremgangsmåde til anvendelse af systemet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter de følgende trin: i) at fremstille antallet af lysstofsammensætninger, ii) at forbinde hver af lysstofsammensætningerne med en anden artikel, og iii) at autentificere og differentiere mellem artiklerne ved at anvende de unikke henfaldshastigheder af strålingen af lysstofsammensætningerne.
