Abstract

Система с использованием пучков электронов, индуцируемых лазерным ускорением кильватерного поля (LWFA), для терапии рака и диагностики. Примеры варианта осуществления, представленные в настоящем описании, содержат одно или более лазерных волокон, а также источник пучка электронов в отдельном упомянутом одном или более лазерных волокнах, при этом источник пучка электронов включает в себя источник лазерных импульсов, плазменную мишень, набор оптики, помещенный между источником лазерных импульсов и плазменной мишенью и выполненный с возможностью фокусировки лазерного импульса, генерируемого источником лазерных импульсов, на плазменную мишень, при этом взаимодействие лазерного импульса с плазменной мишенью индуцирует генерацию пучка электронов. В различных вариантах осуществления, представленных в настоящем описании, электроны высокой энергии пучка электронов взаимодействуют с материалом с высоким Z для генерации рентгеновского излучения.
