Definitions
- the present invention relates to apparatuses for physical culture or for re-education of matricity allowing, depending on the progress made or the objective sought, to increase or decrease the power of work provided during the effort.
- the exerciser is made up either of helical tension springs or return bungee cords or of suspended loads.
- Such devices require in the first case to overcome the elastic resistance in a difficult to measure effort in the second case to have a load device selected by pins difficult to incorporate into a device of small size.
- the invention consists, inter alia, of an apparatus the innovation of which consists in using a normal Swedish wall bar 1 to which vertical posts 2 are added doubling the posts 3 on which the horizontal bars of espalier 4 are fixed these double posts 2 are fixed so that a space is made with the uprights of the wall bar to form a guide housing 5 in which a counterweight slides vertically.
- the uprights on the inside faces of the guide housing are slightly hollowed out 6 in order to guide the counterweight and prevent it from escaping during the vertical movement.
- Said guide housing can receive several types of counterweight, in particular a loadable counterweight or a counterweight with progressive loads.
- the loadable counterweight 7 consists of an open box 8 on the front end face, the bottom at the bottom is inclined 9 with a slope of 30 to 100 inwards so that the load in the form of a diamond-shaped parallelepiped 10 itself having an angle with a slope of 30 percent that is incorporated in the housing of the counterweight 11 is blocked and cannot escape during the vertical movement of the counterweight.
- Loads stack on top of each other, self-locking without the need for other fastening or blocking systems, and are easily removed by tilting at the push of a button at the top. load fig.5
- the counterweight with progressive loads fig. 6 consists of a set rectangular rectangular loads 12 secured to each other by a strap 13. This strap is fixed on the short sides of the load and the length of the strap between two fixings is such that it forms a loop 14 when the counterweight does not is not solicited. When the counterweight is lifted the loads are raised successively by tensioning the strap 15 the effort to be produced then increases progressively.
- the device comprises a means making it possible to prevent the loads from colliding when the traction on the rope is released, consisting of cellular rubber shock absorbers 16 in order to avoid noise and make the operation silent.
- the device can receive either the loadable or progressive load counterweight.
- the counterweights are connected to a rope 17 which passes over a pulley 18 fixed in the upper part of the wall bar, the end of the rope ends with a carabiner 19 on this carabiner can be directly connected either a handle 20 or a bar 21 connecting the two carabiners to allow traction movements to be performed from top to bottom - to allow traction or repulsion movements to be carried out from bottom to top there is an extension of rope 22, one end of which ends in a loop 23 and the other by a carabiner 19 on which the accessories mentioned above can be attached.
- This extension cord passes at the bottom of the device in an exchangeable pulley 24.
- the apparatus also comprises an exercise board 25 which can be used either as an inclined plane or as a horizontal bench thanks to a folding foot.
- This board has on each side a longitudinal hollow groove 26 intended to receive a movable seat 27.
- This movable seat has four casters, the fixing of which is such that it makes it possible to fix the seat on the wall bars by interlocking, thus making it possible to obtain a backrest and also the storage position.

Abstract
