Abstract

Ein Brenner (20) mit einer Brennkammer, die eine erste Zuführleitung (22) für ein Brenngas-/ Luftgemisch und einer Abgasleitung aufweist, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß die Brennkammer mindestens zwei weitere Zuführleitungen (24,26) für Oxidationsgas aufweist, die jeweils Brennzonen in der Brennkammer bilden und in einem Abstand voneinander zwischen den beiden Enden der Brennkammer angeordnet sind, so daß eine für eine vollständige Verbrennung des Brenngases im unter- bzw. nahstöchiometrischen Bereich 1 ≧ λ > 0,9) erzielt wird. Die für eine vollständige Verbrennung notwendige Luftmenge wird über die Zuführleitung (26) am ende der Brennkammer gewährleistet. Dadurch werden die NOx- Anteile im Abgas wesentlich reduziert.
