Definitions
- the invention relates to a protective glove with the in the preamble of Claim 1 specified features.
- Such protective gloves are known from DE 91 13 608 U1 and are e.g. worn by butchers to oppose themselves Protect cuts, punctures and cuts.
- Metal ring mesh for such protective gloves are usually constructed so that in them (from Seams and edges apart) each ring chained to four neighboring rings is.
- Such metal ring meshes are highly flexible and are easy to to protect them, their mobility.
- the high flexibility of the metal ring braid has the disadvantage, however, that such a glove, in contrast to one Glove made of leather or a textile fabric easily by hand slips down again if it is not tied to the wrist.
- the Gloves are therefore provided with a fastening strap on the wrist, which one often provided in the wrist area for gloves Slit bridges, which means putting on and taking off the glove and a wrinkle-free one Closing relieved.
- thermoplastic fabric e.g. made of a polyamide, in which the edge of the metal ring mesh in Wrist area is welded.
- This fabric tape is with a usual one Push button mechanism equipped to hold the glove closed.
- a disadvantage of these tapes is that they are particularly wear and tear has used, difficult to clean, which is particularly the case with Dealing with food can cause problems. If the tapes are worn out, the gloves must either be thrown away or returned to the manufacturer to have new tapes attached. However, that is not very easy, because the old bands are welded to the metal ring braid or are injected.
- gloves which plastic straps are interchangeably attached.
- the purpose of the metal ring mesh is in sections in the area of the wrist double-layered to form loops through which the fastening strap can be pulled through. That makes it possible to use the tapes for the purpose of cleaning from the metal ring mesh. For daily cleaning is however, this is a tedious matter and an additional difficulty is that the loops are particularly difficult to clean.
- the present invention is based on the task of mobility to create non-restrictive protective glove, which involves cleaning of dirty gloves and replacing worn ones Closing straps has fewer problems than with known protective gloves made of metal ring mesh.
- Another option is to use a metallic bracket, in particular a clip to slide laterally over the end of the fastening strap and the end of the closing strap in this way with the underlying layer of the metal ring mesh cling together.
- the closing strap should be so long that it can be used even with thick wrists can enclose. Is the closing strap two to three times as long as that in Hem of the glove, then there is a more intense Interlocking of the metal ring mesh with itself.
- the closing strap namely, when it is wrapped around the wrist, it lies on a large surface itself, which leads to a highly effective interlocking. A sufficient interlocking is already achieved when the fastening tape covers a length of a few centimeters.
- the width of the Closure band matches the length of the cuff and is replaced by at least two Closing closed.
- the straps and cuff have a metal ring mesh with the same running direction, which around the arm runs around.
- the glove shown in Figure 1 consists of a metal ring braid, the Running direction L in the area of the palm 1 and the four fingers 2 to 5 runs in the longitudinal direction of the fingers, in the region of the thumb 6 in the latter Longitudinal direction. In the area of the outer edge of the hand there is a slot 7 in the glove provided that makes it easier to put on and take off the glove.
- a band 9 is attached, which consists of a metal ring braid of the same structure exists, the direction of L but transverse to the direction of the Braid runs in the adjacent glove.
- the band 9 is with the glove braid chained; the section of the band projecting beyond the slot 7 9 is approximately twice as long as the section chained to the glove of volume 9.
- FIG. 2 The structure of the metal ring mesh in the glove and in the chain linked to it Closure band 9 is shown in FIG. 2. Apart from edges and seams, FIG each ring is linked to the braid with four neighboring rings.
- the running direction L is shown in Figure 2. In the running direction L, the braid is easy and collapse to less than half of its original size without drapery Length. In the direction perpendicular to the running direction L is a pushing together of the braid almost impossible
- the braid has the zigzag shape shown in Figure 3. From this it is clear that two with the same running direction superimposed layers of the mesh interlock with each other like scales can. This interlocking occurs when the belt 9 is closed of the glove wrapped around the wrist. The gearing works Open the glove in the opposite direction.
- the tip 10 of the closing strap 9 to fix on the underlying section of the tape 9, e.g. use the clip shown in Figure 4, which consists of two double claws 11, which are connected by a rubber band 12 and light can be hooked into the metal ring braid.
- the glove shown in Figure 5 is made of a similar metal ring braid produced like that shown in Figure 1.
- a closing strap on the glove hem 8 of the glove but a cuff 13, which at each of its two ends Has closure strap 9.
- the running direction L of the braid in the cuff 13 and Closing straps 9 coincidently runs around the arm, transverse to the running direction in the palm of your hand.
- the slot 7 extends from the outer edge of the hand to the back of the cuff.
- the glove shown in Figure 6 has like the glove shown in Figure 5 a cuff 13, but on which two narrow straps are not provided are, but which continues in a wide locking band 9, the Width i.w. matches the length of the cuff.
- the front edge of the Closure band is connected to two claws 14, which from a plate 16 Stand out sheet, which has holes 17, which is linked to the braid of the cuff 13 are and which are stamped and bent from sheet metal.
- the closing strap 9 is relatively short and encloses the wrist with moderate overlap. It is but it is also possible to guide the strap completely around the wrist and thereby additional protection and support of the wrist to reach.
- the metal ring braid with a strip 18 from one Stiffened silicone plastic, which is molded onto the braid, penetrates it and covered on both sides.
- the tip 10 of the closing strap is preferably provided with a particularly locking part.
- the closing part made of a thin metal plate, which is e.g. between 15 and 20 mm and has a series of holes 17 near one of its edges has, in particular three or four holes 17, which with the last rings on the Tip 10 of the closing strap are chained.
- Near the opposite Edge of the plate 16 are on this four pins 19, two on the Front and two on the back, each consisting of a spherical head 20 and a slimmer shaft 21 in contrast.
- the diameter the head 19 is dimensioned so that it through a ring of the metal ring braid can be inserted, after which the ring is in the area of the waist and does not easily slip back over the head 20. Since the pens are on both Side of the plate 16, the clasp can be used both when the glove is worn on the left hand as well as when the same Glove is worn on the right hand.
- FIG. 9 differs differ from the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, that instead of the pins 19 on the edge of the plate 16, opposite the holes 17, only a hook 14 is provided, which for securing the end 10 of the locking strap 9 can be hooked into this.
- the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 10 differs from that in FIG Figure 9 illustrated embodiment in that instead of the simple hook 14 a double hook 22 is provided, and that on the same side of the Plate 16 opposite the double hook 22 opposite one Double hook 23 is provided.
- Double hooks 22 and 23 is always only one used to close the closing strap 9, which has a double hook, when the glove is worn on the left hand, the other double hook, when the glove is worn on the right hand.
- the double hook 22 is used to close.
