Description

La présente invention concerne un emballage de type fourreau pour envelopper un groupe d'au moins deux objets tels que des récipients, l'emballage comprenant une paroi avant, une paroi arrière, une paroi d'extrémité supérieure et une paroi d'extrémité inférieure reliant les parois avant et arrière.
L'invention s'applique par exemple au conditionnement de pots de yaourt ou de compote de forme générale convergente.
Un tel emballage a généralement une forme de fourreau de section sensiblement rectangulaire, et l'emballage enveloppe totalement le groupe de pots correspondant. Un tel emballage permet de maintenir les pots groupés.
Un tel emballage est généralement réalisé à partir d'un flan de carton préalablement découpé et rainuré, puis plié et collé. La quantité de carton utilisée représente une part importante du coût d'un tel emballage. Les objectifs de limitation des coûts tendent donc à limiter les dimensions de ces emballages et notamment la hauteur de leurs parois avant et arrière.
Par ailleurs, la paroi avant d'un tel emballage forme un support d'informations destiné à être placé en avant dans les présentoirs des magasins, pour permettre à un consommateur d'identifier la marque et le type du produit conditionné dans les pots enveloppés par l'emballage.
Les fabricants de yaourt ou de compote imposent à cette face avant d'avoir des dimensions, et donc une hauteur, les plus grandes possibles afin que les informations qu'elle porte soient les plus visibles possibles.
Cette contrainte s'oppose donc jusqu'à présent à la limitation de la surface du flan utilisé et donc du coût de l'emballage.
L'invention a pour but de résoudre ce problème en fournissant un emballage permettant de concilier ces deux contraintes, c'est-à-dire un emballage de coût limité mais offrant une paroi avant de dimensions satisfaisantes.
A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un emballage de type fourreau pour envelopper un groupe d'au moins deux objets tels que des récipients, l'emballage comprenant une paroi avant, une paroi arrière, une paroi d'extrémité supérieure et une paroi d'extrémité inférieure reliant les parois avant et arrière, caractérisé en ce que la hauteur de la paroi avant est supérieure à celle de la paroi arrière, et en ce qu'une des parois d'extrémité comprend au moins une partie inclinée et au moins une ouverture arrière de réception d'un objet proche de la paroi arrière.
Selon des modes particuliers de réalisation, l'emballage peut comprendre l'une ou plusieurs des caractéristiques suivantes, prises isolément ou selon toutes les combinaisons techniquement possibles :
  • les objets étant disposés l'un derrière l'autre, ladite paroi d'extrémité comprend des moyens de coopération avec au moins un objet proche de la paroi avant, ces moyens de coopération étant destinés à être situés à un niveau différent de celui de la ou des ouverture(s) arrière ;
  • les moyens de coopération comprennent au moins une ouverture avant de réception d'une partie d'un objet proche de la paroi avant ;
  • chaque ouverture avant et/ou arrière est ménagée dans la partie inclinée de ladite paroi d'extrémité ;
  • ladite paroi d'extrémité comprend des rabats intérieurs de maintien des objets ;
  • les objets comprenant des tronçons convergents, chaque ouverture avant et/ou arrière est destinée à recevoir le tronçon convergent de l'objet correspondant et a un contour de forme adaptée pour retenir ce tronçon convergent ;
  • ladite paroi d'extrémité est la paroi d'extrémité inférieure ;
  • les moyens de coopération comprennent un support d'objets formé par une partie de la paroi inférieure destinée à être placée horizontalement sous le ou les objets correspondant(s) ;

L'invention a également pour objet un flan allongé pour la formation d'un emballage tel que défini ci-dessus, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des panneaux successifs destinés à former les parois avant, arrière, d'extrémité supérieure, et d'extrémité inférieure de l'emballage, et en ce que le panneau destiné à former la paroi avant a une longueur supérieure à celle du panneau destiné à former la paroi arrière.
Selon une variante, le panneau destiné à former la partie inclinée de ladite paroi d'extrémité présente des ouvertures de réception d'objets de formes adaptées à l'inclinaison de cette partie inclinée dans l'emballage formé.
L'invention a enfin pour objet un ensemble comprenant un groupe d'au moins deux objets, tels que des récipients, et un emballage tel que défini ci-dessus qui enveloppe le groupe d'objets.
L'invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description qui va suivre, donnée uniquement à titre d'exemple, et faite en se référant aux dessins annexés sur lesquels :
  • la figure 1 est une vue schématique en perspective d'un ensemble comprenant des pots de yaourt enveloppés par un emballage selon l'invention,
  • la figure 2 est une vue schématique de côté de l'ensemble de la figure 1, et
  • la figure 3 est une vue en plan d'un flan permettant de réaliser l'emballage de la figure 1.
Dans toute la description, les termes employés et notamment « haut », « bas », « inférieur » et « supérieur » s'entendent pour un ensemble emballage et pots de yaourt posé normalement sur une surface horizontale, avec les fonds des pots de yaourt orientés vers le bas.
Les figures 1 et 2 représentent un ensemble 1 comprenant un groupe de quatre pots de yaourt ou de compote 2 et un emballage 3 du type fourreau enveloppant les pots 2. Pour plus de clarté, les pots 2 sont représentés en trait mixte, et deux de ces pots ne sont pas représentés complètement sur la figure 1.
Les pots de yaourt 2 sont identiques et comportent chacun un corps tronconique 4 convergeant vers le fond 5 du pot 2.
Chaque pot 2 est terminé au niveau de son extrémité supérieure 7 par un rebord 8 recouvert généralement d'un opercule de fermeture. Les quatre pots 2 sont regroupés en deux rangées de deux pots, disposées l'une devant l'autre, à savoir une rangée avant 10 et une rangée arrière 11.
L'emballage 3 -comprend une paroi avant 13 (à gauche sur les figures 1 et 2), une paroi arrière 14, une paroi supérieure 15 et une paroi inférieure 16.
La paroi avant 13 s'étend devant la rangée avant 10, sur une hauteur et une largeur respectivement légèrement supérieures à la hauteur et la largeur du groupe de pots 2.
La paroi supérieure 15 s'étend depuis le bord supérieur 17 de la paroi avant 13 jusqu'au bord supérieur 18 de la paroi arrière 14, en passant au-dessus de tous les pots de yaourt 2.
La paroi inférieure 16 s'étend depuis le bord inférieur 19 de la paroi avant 13 jusqu'au bord inférieur 20 de la paroi arrière 14.
Les parois avant 13 et arrière 14 s'étendent vers le bas en convergeant légèrement l'une vers l'autre.
La paroi arrière 14 a une hauteur h nettement inférieure à la hauteur H de la paroi avant 13.
Le bord inférieur 20 de la paroi arrière 14 est donc situé à un niveau nettement supérieur à celui du bord inférieur 19 de la paroi avant 13.
La paroi inférieure 16 comprend, depuis le bord inférieur 19 de la paroi avant 13, une partie horizontale 22 située sous les fonds 5 des pots 2 de la rangée avant 10, puis une partie 23, qui est inclinée vers le haut et l'arrière de l'emballage 3 et qui rejoint le bord inférieur 20 de la paroi arrière 14.
La partie inclinée 23 comprend deux ouvertures arrière identiques 24 à contours 25 de forme générale en ellipse. Chaque ouverture 24 reçoit le corps tronconique 4 d'un pot 2 de la rangée arrière 11. La forme des contours 25 est adaptée pour que ceux-ci s'ajustent autour des corps 4 correspondants les retenant par blocage.
La partie inclinée 23 comprend également deux ouvertures avant identiques 26 à contours 27 de forme générale en arc d'ellipse. Chaque ouverture 26 reçoit une partie arrière 28 du corps tronconique 4 d'un pot 2 de la rangée avant 10.
La forme des contours 27 est adaptée pour que ceux-ci s'ajustent autour des corps 4 correspondants en les retenant par blocage.
La partie inclinée 23 de la paroi inférieure 16 comprend en outre des rabats rectangulaires avant 30 et arrière 31 associés chacun à une ouverture avant 26 ou arrière 24. Chaque rabat 30 s'étend sensiblement verticalement depuis une région d'un contour 27 légèrement décrochée vers l'arrière. Chaque rabat 31 s'étend également sensiblement verticalement depuis une région d'un contour 25 légèrement décrochée vers l'avant.
Les deux rabats 30 s'étendent chacun le long du corps 4 d'un pot 2 de la rangée 10 en prenant appui sur ce corps 4.
Les deux rabats 31 s'étendent chacun le long du corps 4 d'un pot 2 de la rangée 11 en prenant appui sur ce corps 4.
La partie horizontale 22 de la paroi inférieure 16 comprend, au niveau de chaque fond 5 des pots 2 de la rangée 10, un prolongement avant 32 en segment de disque, et un prolongement arrière 33 sensiblement trapézoïdal, de manière à augmenter la surface de contact entre la partie 22 avec les fonds 5 des pots 2 de la rangée avant 10.
La paroi avant 13 comprend, pour chaque pot 2 de la rangée 10, une ouverture 34 de réception d'une région avant du fond 5 du pot 2. Cette ouverture 34 est bordée par deux languettes triangulaires 35 de retenue du fond 5 correspondant.
La paroi avant 13 comprend en outre, pour chaque pot 2 de la rangée 10, une ouverture sensiblement horizontale 36 de réception et de retenue du rebord 8 du pot 2 correspondant.
La paroi arrière 14 comprend de manière analogue deux ouvertures sensiblement horizontales 37 de réception et de retenue des rebords 8 des pots 2 de la rangée arrière 11.
La paroi supérieure 15 comprend enfin des prolongements rectangulaires avant 39 et arrière 40 au droit des ouvertures 36 et 37 pour recouvrir les régions des rebords 8 reçues dans les ouvertures 36 et 37.
Deux dégagements en arc de cercle 41 sont ménagés sur les côtés de la paroi supérieure 15.
La figure 3 illustre un flan de carton allongé 50 ou ébauche, permettant de fabriquer l'emballage 3 par pliage. Sur cette figure, les lignes de pliage sont représentées en pointillé et les lignes de découpe en trait fort.
Ce flan 50 comprend successivement, articulés les uns aux autres, six panneaux sensiblement rectangulaires 51 à 56.
Le panneau 52 correspond à la paroi avant 13, le panneau 53 à la partie horizontale 22 de la paroi inférieure 16, le panneau 54 à la partie inclinée 23 de la paroi inférieure 16, et le panneau 55 à la paroi arrière 14.
La longueur du panneau 52 (qui correspond à la hauteur H) est supérieure à la longueur du panneau 55 (qui correspond à la hauteur h).
Le panneau 56, de faible longueur, est un rabat de collage du panneau 51 qui est destiné à être pratiquement recouvert par ce dernier en formant la paroi supérieure 15.
Deux fentes rectilignes 57 sont formées dans le panneau 52, à proximité et parallèlement à une ligne de pliage discontinue et transversale 58 qui relie les panneaux 51 et 52.
Chaque fente 57 se termine par des extrémités courbes rejoignant la ligne de pliage 58. Un évidement sensiblement rectangulaire 59 est ménagé au bord de la partie centrale de chaque fente 57, du côté d'une ligne de pliage discontinue et transversale 60 qui relie les panneaux 52 et 53.
Chaque fente 57 est destinée à délimiter lors du pliage de l'ébauche 50, d'une part un prolongement 39 de la paroi supérieure 15, et, d'autre part, avec l'évidement 59 correspondant, l'ouverture 36 correspondante de la paroi avant 13.
Le panneau 52 présente deux fentes 61 en arc de cercle formées à proximité de la ligne de pliage 60 et rejoignant celle-ci. Chaque fente 61 est prolongée dans sa partie centrale par une fente 62 parallèle à l'axe longitudinal de l'ébauche 50. Deux fentes obliques 63 s'étendent de part et d'autre de chaque fente 62 vers chaque extrémité de la fente 61 correspondante.
Après pliage de l'ébauche 50, chaque fente 61 est destinée à délimiter un prolongement avant 32 de la paroi inférieure 16, l'ouverture 34 correspondante dans la paroi avant 13 et, avec les fentes 62 et 63 correspondantes, les languettes triangulaires de retenue 35 correspondantes de la paroi avant 13.
Deux paires d'évidements oblongs 64 sont ménagées dans le panneau 54 à proximité d'une ligne de pliage discontinue et transversale 65 qui relie le panneau 53 au panneau 54.
Les évidements 64 d'une même paire sont, d'une part, reliés entre eux par une fente rectiligne 66 transversale à l'axe longitudinal du flan 50, et sont d'autre part prolongés chacun par une fente 67 longitudinale par rapport à l'axe du flan 50. Pour chaque paire d'évidements 64, ces évidements 64 et les fentes 66 et 67 délimitent un volet rectangulaire 68, relié par une ligne de pliage 69 au reste du panneau 54, et un volet trapézoïdal 70 relié au panneau 53.
Pour chaque paire d'évidement 64, les évidements 64 sont destinés à délimiter une ouverture avant 26 de la paroi inférieure 16 de l'emballage 3 formé. Les volets 68 et 70 correspondants, sont destinés à former respectivement le rabat 30 correspondant de la paroi inférieure 16 et le prolongement arrière 33 correspondant de la partie 22 de la paroi 16.
Le panneau 54 présente également deux évidements 72 dont le contour correspond principalement à une ellipse. Chaque évidement 72 est prolongé par deux fentes rectilignes 73 parallèles à l'axe longitudinal du flan 50. Ces fentes 73 délimitent en partie deux volets rectangulaires 74 reliés chacun par une ligne de pliage 75 au panneau 54. Chaque volet 74 s'étend en partie dans l'évidement 72 correspondant.
Les évidements 72 sont destinés à former les ouvertures arrière 24 de la paroi inférieure 16, et les volets 74 sont destinés à former les rabats 31 correspondants.
Les formes des évidements 72 et également des évidements 64 sont adaptées d'une part à l'inclinaison que prendra le panneau 54 pour former la partie 23 de la paroi 16 et d'autre part à la forme des pots 2.
Deux fentes rectilignes 76 sont formées dans le panneau 55 à proximité et parallèlement à une ligne de pliage discontinue et transversale 77 qui relie les panneaux 55 et 56. Ces fentes 75 sont terminées par des extrémités courbes rejoignant la ligne de pliage 76.
Deux évidements 78 en arc de cercle sont formés chacun sur un côté du panneau 51 et sont destinés à former les dégagements 41 de la paroi supérieure 15 de l'emballage 3.
Pour former l'emballage 3 de la figure 1, on enveloppe les pots 2 avec le flan 50, puis on vient coller le panneau 51 sur le panneau 56. La solidarisation de ces deux panneaux 51 et 56 peut également être assurée de tout autre manière connue.
L'emballage 3 ainsi formé assure une retenue satisfaisante des pots 2, notamment grâce aux formes conjuguées des corps 4 des pots 2 et des contours 25 et 27 des ouvertures 24 et 26, grâce aux rabats 30 et 31, grâce à la partie horizontale 22 de la paroi inférieure 16 et à ses prolongements 32 et 33, grâce aux ouvertures 36 et 37 des parois avant et arrière 13 et 14 et grâce à la paroi supérieure 15.
Il est à noter que la paroi inférieure 16 coopère avec les pots 2 de la rangée arrière 11 à un niveau supérieur à celui auquel elle coopère avec les pots 2 de la rangée avant 10.
Les dégagements 41 facilitent la saisie de l'emballage 3. Selon des variantes non représentées, ils peuvent être remplacés par d'autres moyens équivalents tels que des orifices.
La face avant 13 s'étend sur toute la hauteur et la largeur de groupes de pots 2 et présente donc une surface maximale disponible pour supporter des informations.
Cela étant, la forme asymétrique du profil de l'emballage 3, avec la paroi arrière 14 de faible hauteur et la présence de la partie inclinée 23 de la paroi inférieure 16, permet de limiter la surface totale du flan 50 utilisé.
Ainsi, à dimensions de paroi avant 13 égales, la surface du flan 50 utilisé est nettement inférieure à celle d'un flan destiné à former un emballage de section symétrique enveloppant totalement le groupe de pots de yaourt.
Selon des variantes non représentées, la hauteur de la paroi arrière 14 peut être très faible voire nulle.
L'invention peut bien sûr s'appliquer au conditionnement de tout type d'objets, en particulier de récipients. Bien sûr, l'invention permet de conditionner des groupes de nombre variable d'objets, par exemple comprenant 2x3 ou 2x4 objets ...

Claims (16)

  1. Emballage (3) de type fourreau pour envelopper un groupe d'au moins deux objets (2) tels que des récipients, l'emballage comprenant une paroi avant (13), une paroi arrière (14), une paroi d'extrémité supérieure (15) et une paroi d'extrémité inférieure (16) reliant les parois avant (13) et arrière (14), caractérisé en ce que la hauteur (H) de la paroi avant est supérieure à celle (h) de la paroi arrière, et en ce qu'une des parois d'extrémité (16) comprend au moins une partie inclinée (23) et au moins une ouverture arrière (24) de réception d'un objet proche de la paroi arrière.
  2. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que, au moins deux objets étant disposés l'un derrière l'autre, ladite paroi d'extrémité (16) comprend des moyens (22, 26) de retenue d'au moins un objet (2) proche de la paroi avant, ces moyens de retenue étant destinés à être situés à un niveau différent de celui de la ou des ouverture(s) arrière (24).
  3. Emballage selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de retenue comprennent au moins une ouverture avant (26) de réception d'une partie d'un objet proche de la paroi avant (13).
  4. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que chaque ouverture avant (26) et/ou arrière (24) est ménagée dans la partie inclinée (23) de ladite paroi d'extrémité (16).
  5. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que ladite paroi d'extrémité comprend des rabats intérieurs (30, 31) de maintien des objets.
  6. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que, les objets comprenant des tronçons convergents (4), chaque ouverture avant (26) et/ou arrière (24) est destinée à recevoir le tronçon convergent (4) de l'objet correspondant et a un contour (25, 27) de forme adaptée pour retenir ce tronçon convergent.
  7. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que ladite paroi d'extrémité est la paroi d'extrémité inférieure (16).
  8. Emballage selon les revendications 2 et 7 prises ensemble, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de retenue comprennent un support d'objets formé par une partie (22) de la paroi inférieure (16) destinée à être placée horizontalement sous le ou les objets correspondant(s).
  9. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que, les objets comprenant des rebords d'extrémité (8), des ouvertures (36, 37) de réception et de retenue de ces rebords sont ménagées dans la paroi avant (13) et/ou dans la paroi arrière (14) de l'emballage.
  10. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que la paroi avant (13) est destinée à s'étendre sensiblement sur toute la hauteur du groupe d'objets (2).
  11. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10, caractérisé en ce que la paroi arrière est de hauteur (h) minimale voire nulle.
  12. Flan allongé (50) pour la formation d'un emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des panneaux successifs (51 à 56) destinés à former les parois avant (13), arrière (14), d'extrémité supérieure (15), et d'extrémité inférieure (16) de l'emballage (3), et en ce que le panneau (52) destiné à former la paroi avant (13) a une longueur supérieure à celle du panneau (55) destiné à former la paroi arrière (14).
  13. Flan selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que le panneau (54) destiné à former la partie inclinée (23) de ladite paroi d'extrémité (16) présente des ouvertures (64, 72) de réception d'objets de formes adaptées à l'inclinaison de cette partie inclinée (23) dans l'emballage formé (3).
  14. Ensemble (1) comprenant un groupe d'au moins deux objets (2) tels que des récipients et un emballage (3) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11 qui enveloppe le groupe d'objets.
  15. Ensemble selon la revendication 14, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins deux des objets (2) sont disposés l'un derrière l'autre.
  16. Ensemble selon la revendication 15, caractérisé en ce que le groupe d'objets comprend une rangée avant (10) et une rangée arrière (11) d'objets (2).
