Abstract

Packungseinheiten aus einer (Zigaretten-)Packung, insbesondere Klappschachtel (10) und einer Außenumhüllung (24) aus dünner, durchsichtiger Folie wird ein Druckträger (30) beigegeben, der zwischen der Klappschachtel (10) und Außenumhüllung (24) angeordnet ist, und zwar in (Zickzack-förmiger) Faltung. Der Druckträger (30) ist im Bereich einer Stirnwand (22) so positioniert, daß beim Öffnen der Außenumhüllung (24) eine selbsttätige Entfaltung stattfindet.

Description

(Zigaretten-) Packung
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackungseinheit mit einer einen Packungsinhalt aufnehmenden Packung, insbesondere einer Zigarettenpackung, und einer Außenumhüll ung aus durchsichtiger Folie, wobei zwischen der Packung und der Außenumhüllung ein Druckträger bzw. Coupon aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt angeordnet ist.
Vor allem bei Zigarettenpackungen besteht zunehmend das Bedürfnis, den Packungen Druckträger beizugeben, die Informationen enthalten, der Werbung dienen oder auch eine Teilnahmeberechtigung an Verlosungen etc. darstellen. Bei Zigarettenpackungen, die üblicherweise mit einer Außenumhüllung aus durchsichtiger Folie versehen sind, ist es vorteilhaft, den Druckträger (Coupon) zwischen der Packung und der Außenumhüllung zu positio- nieren. Dadurch kann der Druckträger bei unversehrter Packungseinheit von außen wahrgenommen werden.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, bei einer derartigen Packung bzw. Packungseinheit den Druckträger so auszubilden und anzuordnen, daß umfänglichere Informationen durch den Druckträger vermittelt werden können und die Präsentation bei Ingebrauchnahme der Packung verbessert ist.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Packung da- durch gekennzeichnet, daß der Druckträger zieharmoni kaartig bzw. Zick-Zack-förmig gefaltet ist.
Durch die gefaltete Anordnung des Druckträgers kann dieser als verhältnismäßig langer, streifenförmiger Zuschnitt ausgebildet sein, der mehrere Hinweise, ggf. entsprechend einer Unterteilung in Felder, aufweisen kann. Durch die Zick-Zack-förmige Faltung ist das Entfalten des Zuschnitts bzw. Druckträgers erleichtert. Im gefalteten Zustand wird der Druckträger zu einem Gebilde, das eine kleine Grundfläche aufweist und insgesamt wenig Platz einnimmt.
Eine Besonderheit besteht darin, daß die Gestaltung des (gefalteten) Druckträgers mit der Konstruktion der Packung in Zusammenhang gebracht wird, derart, daß beim Öffnen bzw. erstmaligem Gebrauch der Packung der Druckträger selbsttätig entfaltet wird. Zu diesem Zweck ist der Druckträger mit der Packung einerseits und der Umhüllung andererseits leicht lösbar verbunden. Bei Beseitigung eines Teils der Umhüllung wird der Druckträger entfaltet, insbesondere durch Abnehmen einer (oberen) Kappe der Außenumhüllung.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Druckträgers sowie einer mit diesem Druckträger ausgestatteten Packung wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

Die in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Einzelheiten betreffen Zigarettenpackungen des Typs Klappschachtel 10. Eine derartige Packung besteht aus (dünnem) Karton. Im Aufbau besteht die qua- derförmige Klappschachtel 10 aus einem (unteren) Schachtel tei 1 11 und einem (oberen) Deckel 12. Der Schachtel tei 1 11 ist durch eine Vorderwand 13, eine gegenüberliegende Rückwand 14, durch schmale, aufrechte Seitenwände 15, 16 und durch eine Bodenwand 17 begrenzt. Entsprechend besteht der Deckel 12 aus Deckel-Vorderwand 18, Deckel -Rückwand 19, schmalen, an die Seitenwände 15, 16 anschließende Deckel -Sei tenwände 20, 21 und einer oberen Stirnwand 22 gegenüberliegend zur Bodenwand 17. Schachtel tei 1 11 und Deckel 12 sind im Bereich von Rückwand 14 und Deckel- Rückwand 19 durch eine Gelenklinie 23 klappbar miteinander verbunden .
Die so ausgebildete Packung bzw. Klappschachtel 10 ist vor Ingebrauchnahme von einer Außenumhüllung 24 umgeben. Diese besteht aus einer dünnen, durchsichtigen Folie. Die Außenumhüllung 24 umgibt die Klappschachtel 10 vollständig, also an allen Seiten unter Bildung einer oberen Außenstirnwand 25.
Zur Ingebrauchnahme der aus Klappschachtel 10 und Außenumhüllung 24 bestehenden Packungseinheit wird die Außenumhüllung 24 teilweise entfernt. Zu diesem Zweck ist die Außenu hüll ung 24 in einem oberen Bereich mit einem ringsherumlaufenden Aufreiß- streifen 26 versehen. Dieser ist durch Kleben oder Siegeln in bekannter Weise mit dem Zuschnitt der Außenumhüllung 24 verbunden. Im Bereich einer Seitenwand ist ein freies Ende des Aufreißstreifens 26 mit einer von Hand erfaßbaren Grifflasche 27 versehen. Diese wird zum Öffnen der Außenumhüll ung 24 mit Hilfe des Aufreißstreifens 26 erfaßt.
Der Aufreißstreifen 26 ist so angeordnet, daß ein oberer Teilbereich der Außenumhüllung 24 vom unteren Teil derselben abgetrennt wird, nämlich eine Kappe 28. Diese kann nach dem Ab- trennvorgang nach oben von der Packung bzw. Klappschachtel 10 abgehoben werden (Fig. 5). Dadurch wird mindestens der Deckel 12 komplett freigelegt, so daß der Zugang zum Packungsinhalt durch Öffnen des Deckels 12 möglich ist. Ein becherförmiger Folienunterteil 29 kann an der Klappschachtel 10 bzw. am Schach- telteil 11 bleiben. Der aus der Packung bzw. Klappschachtel 10 und der Außenumhüllung 24 bestehenden Packungseinheit ist ein Druckträger 30 beigegeben. Dieser besteht aus einem dünnen Zuschnitt (Fig. 3), insbesondere aus Papier. Der Druckträger 30 ist einseitig oder beidseitig mit einer Bedruckung versehen, die Informationen, Werbung etc. aufweist. Der Druckträger 30 kann aber auch ganz bzw. teilweise als Coupon für die Teilnahme an Verlosungen oder dergleichen dienen.
Der Zuschnitt des Druckträgers 30 ist ein langgestrecktes, streifenförmiges Gebilde (Fig. 3). Durch quergerichtete Faltlinien 31 ist der Druckträger 30 zu einem verhältnismäßig kleinen, kompakten Paket zusammenfaltbar (Fig. 4). Die Faltung wird so vorgenommen, daß durch die Faltlinien 31 begrenzte Felder 32 des Druckträgers 30 Zick-Zack- bzw. zieharmoni kaförmig gefaltet sind.
Der Druckträger 30 wird zweckmäßigerweise fabrikmäßig vorgefertigt, nämlich gefaltet und verpackungsfertig angeliefert. Um die Faltstellung zu gewährleisten, ist gemäß Fig. 4 ein kleines, unauffälliges Verbindungsmittel vorgesehen, nämlich beispielsweise ein Leimstreifen 33, ein kleines Tape oder dergleichen. Dieser Leimstreifen 33 dient lediglich zum Zusammenhalt des gefalteten Druckträgers 30 während des Transports, der La- gerung und der Verpackung.
Der gefaltete Druckträger 30 ist zwischen der Packung bzw. Klappschachtel 10 und der Außenumhüllung 24 positioniert. Vorteilhafterweise ist der Druckträger 30 im Bereich der Stirnwand 22 des Deckels angeordnet, nämlich zwischen dieser Stirnwand 22 einerseits und der Außenstirnwand 25 der Außenumhüllung. Der Druckträger 30 ist so bemessen, daß nach Faltung, also in der Position gemäß Fig. 4, die Fläche der Stirnwand 22 nicht überschritten wird. Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel hat der Druckträger 30 etwa die Breite der Stirnwand 22 und ist geringfügig kürzer als diese. Der Druckträger 30 ist in besonderer Weise angebracht, nämlich fixiert, derart, daß beim Öffnen der Packungseinheit der Druckträger 30 selbsttätig entfaltet wird. Zu diesem Zweck ist ein der Stirnwand 22 zugekehrter Schenkel 34 - ein Randfeld des Zuschnitts gemäß Fig. 3 - mit der Stirnwand 22 leicht lösbar verbunden. Ein gegenüberliegender, randseitiger Schenkel 35 ist entsprechend mit der Innenseite der Außenstirnwand 25 verbunden. Die Verbindung kann durch Leimpunkte 36 erfolgen. Die Leimpunkte 36 sind so bemessen bzw. ausgebildet, daß nach dem Öffnen der Außenumhüllung 24 der Druckträger 30 leicht von der Außenumhüllung 24 und der Klappschachtel 10 gelöst werden kann. Insbesondere kann es sich um einen Leim mit peel -Eigenschaften handel n.
Die Positionierung des Druckträgers 30 und die Faltung desselben gewährleistet ein selbsttätiges Entfalten beim Öffnen der Außenumhüllung 24 durch Abziehen der Kappe 28. Der Druckträger 30 ist in dieser Kappe 28 fixiert, so daß beim Abheben von der Packung bzw. Klappschachtel 10 (Fig. 5) der Druckträger 30 in- folge Verbindung mit der Stirnwand 22 entfaltet wird.
Nach dem Entfernen des Druckträgers 30 wird die Klappschachtel 10 in herkömmlicher Weise benutzt.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Verpackungseinheit aus einer einen Packungsinhalt aufnehmenden Packung (10), insbesondere einer Zigarettenpackung, und einer Außenumhüllung (24) aus durchsichtiger Folie, wobei zwischen der Packung (10) und der Außenumhüllung (24) ein Druck- träger (30) bzw. Coupon aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Druckträger (30) zieharmoni kaartig bzw. Zi ck-Zack-förmig gefaltet ist.
2. Verpackungseinheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeich- net, daß der Druckträger (30) lösbar, insbesondere durch kleine bzw. leicht lösbare Leimpunkte (36), mit der Packung (10) verbunden ist im Bereich eines der Packung zugekehrten Faltabschnitts bzw. Schenkels (34) des Druckträgers (30).
3. Verpackungseinheit nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Druckträger (30) mit der Packung (10) einerseits und mit der Außenumhüllung (24) andererseits leicht lösbar verbunden ist, insbesondere durch kleine bzw. lösbare Leimpunkte (36), wobei der der Packung (10) zugekehrte Faltab- schnitt bzw. Schenkel (34) mit der Packung (10) und ein anderer, der Außenumhüllung (24) zugekehrter Faltabschnitt bzw. Schenkel (35) mit der Außenumhüll ung (24) verbunden ist.

Verpackungseinheit nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weite- ren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der gefaltete Druckträger (30) im Bereich einer (oberen) Stirnwand (22) der Packung (10) angeordnet ist bzw. an dieser anliegt, wobei die Abmessungen des gefalteten Druckträgers (30) kleiner sind als die Abmessungen der Stirnwand (22), vorzugsweise derart, daß der gefaltete Druckträger (30) die Stirnwand (22) annähernd bedeckt. 8

Verpackungseinheit nach Anspruch 3 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die die Packung (10) allseits umgebende Außenumhüll ung (24) eine durch einen Aufreißstreifen (26) oder durch eine Schwächungslinie entfernbare, im oberen Bereich der Packung (10) gebildete Kappe (28) aufweist und daß der Druckträger (30) mit der Kappe (28) einerseits und der Packung (10) andererseits leicht lösbar verbunden ist, vorzugsweise an der Stirnwand (22) der Packung (10) einerseits und an der Innenseite einer Außenstirnwand (25) der Außenumhüllung (24) andererseits.
6. Verpackungseinheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der gefaltete Druckträger (30) zur Gewährleistung der Faltstellung während des Transports, der Lagerung und Ver- packung durch ein leicht lösbares Verbindungsorgan zusammengehalten ist, insbesondere durch einen (kleinen) Leimstreifen (33).
