Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schaukasten für Plakate, Poster und dergleichen sowie eine Schauwand mit einer Anzeigevorrichtung, die vom Betrachter interaktiv gesteuert werden kann.
  • Es ist bekannt, beispielsweise für Zwecke der Werbung, Plakate, Poster und anderer Informationsträger mit flacher Gestalt auf einer Schauwand eines Schaukastens anzubringen. Dieser Kasten kann beispielsweise an eine Wand gehängt oder, ggf. auf einem Stativ oder Untergestell frei im Raum aufgestellt werden. Als Träger für die bildliche oder graphische Information können Papier oder transparente Folien dienen, wobei die Schauwand ebenfalls aus einem transparenten Material bestehen kann. Durch rückwärtige Beleuchtung des Informationsträgers wird die Aufmerksamkeit eines Betrachters besonders erregt.
  • Wenn solche Schaukästen einen Blickfang darstellen sollen, ist die in der Darstellung enthaltene Information naturgemäß begrenzt, da ein Übermaß an Information unübersichtlich wirkt und eben gerade nicht anziehend wirkt. Andererseits besteht der Wunsch, einem einmal gewonnenen Betrachter auch Details über die beworbenen Produkte oder Dienstleistungen mitteilen zu können. Die bekannten Schaukästen bieten hier allenfalls die Möglichkeit, über angegebene Referenzadressen weitere Information anzufordern. Dies erfordert weitere Bemühungen des potentiellen Interessenten, der deshalb möglicherweise nicht als Kunde gewonnen werden kann.
  • US 5,758,935 offenbart eine Computer Workstation, deren Bildschirm sich zum Schutz vor Umwelteinflüssen unter einem Fenster befindet
  • DE 199 38 897 A1 offenbart ein interaktives Bedienterminal zum intuitiven Umgang des Benutzers mit dem Terminal.
  • Eine Schauwand für Plakate, Poster und andere flächige Informationsträger mit einem Fenster ist in beiden Dokumenten nicht offenbart.
  • Die Erfindung stellt sich die Aufgabe, einen Schaukasten und eine Schauwand bereitzustellen, mit dem der Betrachter auf einfache Weise über den Inhalt des zur Schau gestellten Informationsträgers hinausgehende zusätzliche Information über die beworbenen Produkte oder Dienstleistungen erhalten kann.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird durch einen Schaukasten nach Anspruch 1 gelöst.
  • Die zusätzliche Information wird auf einer Anzeigevorrichtung bereitgestellt, die durch ein Fenster in der den Blickfang tragenden Schauwand sichtbar ist und digitale Bild- oder Videosignale anzeigt, die von einer Signalquelle erzeugt werden, die vom Betrachter gesteuert werden kann. Als Signalquelle kann ein Rechner dienen, der die Bild- oder Videosignale aus Information erzeugt, die er von einem Speicher abruft. Es eignen sich aber auch Bauteile als Signalquelle, die direkt Bild- oder Videosignale weiterleiten oder speichern, wie Fernsehtuner, DVD-Abspielgeräte, Videospeicher und -recorder.
  • Beispielsweise kann auf der Anzeigevorrichtung zunächst ein Menü dargestellt werden, das die Möglichkeiten der Steuerung dem Betrachter erläutert. Diese Möglichkeiten können zum Beispiel verschiedene Produkte oder verschieden Gruppen von Information, wie technische Daten oder Ansichten des Produkts betreffen. Bei einem größeren Angebot von Information kann die Menüführung auch mehrstufig sein.
  • Auf der Schauwand des erfindungsgemäßen Schaukastens gezeigte Poster und dergleichen weisen einen Ausschnitt auf, der mit dem Umriss des Fensters kongruent ist. Dadurch ist die Anzeigevorrichtung im Fenster sichtbar und wird nicht vom Poster verdeckt. Vorzugsweise liegt die Anzeigefläche der Anzeigevorrichtung in oder nahe bei der Bildebene des Posters, um störende Parallaxewirkungen zu vermeiden.
  • Als Anzeigevorrichtung kann jede Vorrichtung dienen, die es ermöglicht, digitale Bild- oder Videosignale sichtbar zu machen. Geeignet sind Schwarzweiß- oder Farbmonitore (Kathodenstrahlröhren), Flüssigkristall-Anzeigevorrichtungen (LCD), Plasmaanzeigevorrichtungen und Vakuumfluoreszenzanzeigen (fluorescent tube displays - FTD).
  • Der Schaukasten ist mit Mitteln versehen, mit denen der Betrachter die Steuerung des Rechners vornehmen kann. Dies können beispielsweise Schalter oder Tasten sein. Bevorzugt ist die Anzeigevorrichtung als berührungsempfindlicher Bildschirm (touch screen) ausgebildet, auf dem ein Menü aus mehreren Steuerbefehlen dargestellt werden kann, die vom Betrachter durch Berühren aufgerufen werden können. Die Darstellung der Steuerbefehle kann in bekannter Weise alphanumerisch oder durch Bilder oder Teile einer Gesamtabbildung erfolgen.
  • Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform weist der Schaukasten auch Mittel für die Erzeugung und/oder Wiedergabe akustischer Signale auf. Die Mittel für die Erzeugung solcher Signale können beispielsweise Softwareprogramme für den Rechner oder Abspielvorrichtungen für Tonträger, wie Magnetbandkassetten und CD, sein, die vom Rechner gesteuert werden können. Die Wiedergabe der Signale kann mittels Lautsprecher erfolgen.
  • Bevorzugt weist die Schauwand des erfindungsgemäßen Schaukastens einen um den äußeren Rand laufenden abnehmbaren Halterahmen auf. Dieser ermöglicht es, die gezeigten Poster und dergleichen zwischen ihm und der Schauwand einzuklemmen und so auswechselbar zu befestigen. Dabei kann auch ein das Poster bedeckendes durchsichtiges Schutzblatt, beispielsweise aus einer Kunststofffolie, mit befestigt werden. Wenn das Schutzblatt seiner Art nach die Bedienung des touch screen verhindert, muss es auch mit einem zum Fenster kongruenten Ausschnitt versehen sein.
  • Die Handhabung des abnehmbaren Halterahmens wird erleichtert, wenn er an einer Seitenkante der Schauwand klappbar angeschlagen ist. Dies kann in bekannter Weise durch Scharniere geschehen. Wenn er an der Oberkante angeschlagen und nach oben klappbar ist, wird er vorteilhaft durch Gasdruckfedern in Position gehalten.
  • Auch die Schauwand des Schaukastens selbst ist bevorzugt abnehmbar, um Zugang zu den in seinem Inneren befindlichen Bauteilen zu ermöglichen. Besonders bevorzugt ist sie ebenfalls an einer Seitenkante klappbar angeschlagen. Die Schauwand und ihr Rahmen können an derselben oder auch an gegenüberliegenden oder in einer Ecke aneinanderstoßenden Seitenkanten angeschlagen sein.
  • Bevorzugt ist der erfindungsgemäße Schaukasten mit Mitteln versehen, die eine Beleuchtung des gezeigten Posters von der Rückseite ermöglichen. Dies können beispielsweise im Inneren des Kasten befindliche Lampen, wie Glühlampen oder Leuchtstoffröhren, sein. In diesem Fall besteht die Schauwand des Kastens aus einem lichtdurchlässigen Material, wie Glas oder Acrylglas, wobei ein lichtleitendes Glas oder ein solcher Kunststoff, z. B. ein spezielles lichtleitendes Acrylglas, besonders bevorzugt ist, und kann einen Rahmen, beispielsweise aus Metall, Holz oder Kunststoff, besitzen. Im Interesse einer gleichmäßigen Ausleuchtung sind die Lampen zweckmäßig im Randbereich angeordnet, wo sie vom in diesem Fall lichtundurchlässigen Halterahmen oder ggf. vom Rahmen der Schauwand verdeckt werden. Die Lampen können beispielsweise an der Rückseite des Rahmens oder an der Innenwand des Schaukastens befestigt sein.
  • Bevorzugt weist der erfindungsgemäße Schaukasten Speichermittel auf, die den Rechner mit Information versorgen, die er zur Erzeugung der digitalen Bild- oder Videosignale benötigt. Solche Mittel können Permanentspeicher wie Festplatten, Blitzspeicher (flash memories), ggf. auf Karten, Disketten-, CD-ROM- oder DVD-Laufwerke oder auch flüchtige Speicher sein, die beispielsweise die Wiederholung einer vom Betrachter gesteuerten Informationssequenz ermöglichen.
  • Der Rechner kann bevorzugt die zur Erzeugung der digitalen Signale erforderliche Information drahtlos oder über eine Leitung von einer externen Informationsquelle erhalten. Die drahtlose Übertragung kann beispielsweise über Satelliten- oder terrestrischen Funk, durch Infrarotübertragung oder mittels Mobilkommunikation erfolgen. Als Datenquelle kann das Internet benutzt werden.
  • Zweckmäßig nimmt die Fläche des Fensters einen Anteil von etwa 5 bis 25 % der Fläche der Schauwand ein.
  • Vorteilhaft kann der erfindungsgemäße Schaukasten noch weitere Mittel aufweisen, die die interaktive Bedienung durch den Betrachter unterstützen. Diese sind beispielsweise Mittel zur Identifizierung des Betrachters, wie Magnetkarten-, Chipkarten- und Barcodeleser, und/oder Einrichtungen zur Fingerabdruck- und/oder Gesichtserkennung. Dadurch wird ermöglicht, Information selektiv für bestimmte bekannte Kunden bzw. für unbekannte Betrachter bereitzustellen.
  • Bevorzugt ist der erfindungsgemäße Schaukasten mit einem Bewegungssensor ausgerüstet. Dadurch wird es beispielsweise möglich, auf der Anzeigevorrichtung den Bildausschnitt des zum Fenster kongruenten ausgeschnittenen Teil des Posters darzustellen, sodass der visuelle Eindruck aus der Ferne nicht durch diesen Fensterausschnitt gestört wird. Nähert sich ein interessierter Betrachter dem Schaukasten, dann veranlasst der Bewegungssensor den Rechner, auf der Anzeigevorrichtung beispielsweise eine Aufforderung zur interaktiven Bedienung darzustellen.
  • Die Erfindung ist nicht auf Schaukästen mit einer Schauwand beschränkt. Sie umfasst auch Ausbildungen flacher Schaukästen mit zwei gegenüberliegenden Schauwänden sowie Kästen in Form dreivier- oder mehrseitiger Prismen mit einer entsprechenden Anzahl von Schauwände. Dabei ist es möglich, einzelne Schauwände in herkömmlicher Art auszuführen und andere erfindungsgemäß mit Fenster, Anzeigevorrichtung und Rechner zur interaktiven Steuerung durch den Betrachter auszustatten.
  • Ein Vorteil des erfindungsgemäßen Schaukastens besteht darin, dass sich die auf der Anzeigevorrichtung dargestellte Information leicht modifizieren lässt. Dies kann durch Änderung der in den Speichermitteln abgelegten Information geschehen, die durch direkten Eingriff nach Öffnen des Kastens oder auch durch drahtlose Informationsübermittlung erfolgen kann. So lassen sich geringfügige Änderungen, beispielsweise der Farbe, der Form oder der Preise der Produkte auf einfache Weise zeitnah berücksichtigen.
  • Der erfindungsgemäße Schaukasten ermöglicht es, nicht nur das Produkt bzw, die Dienstleistung zu zeigen, sondern auch deren Vorteile und Detaileigenschaften auf einer Produktberatüngsplattform darzustellen. Dabei ist die Möglichkeit der interaktiven Bedienung besonders geeignet, das Interesse des potentiellen Kunden zu wecken.
  • Bei der Erfindung verwendbar ist, auch eine Schauwand mit einem Poster, Plakat oder dergleichen Informationsträger, die von der Vorderseite und/oder durch die Rückseite beleuchtet sein kann und in ihrer Bildfläche eine Anzeigevorrichtung für digitale Bild- oder Videosignale aufweist, deren Anzeige vom Betrachter interaktiv gesteuert werden kann. Die Anzeigevorrichtung kann beispielsweise ein in die Bildfläche integrierter Flachbildschirm sein. Eine solche Schauwand eignet sich auch beispielsweise zur Anbringung an einem beleuchteten Fenster oder auf einer Wand. Eine solche Schauwand vereinigt die Vorteile eines ggf. beleuchteten und ggf. auswechselbaren Posters und einer interaktiven Anzeigevorrichtung. Sie ermöglicht eine optimale Integration in Verkaufsräumen, öffentlichen Räumen, auf Messen usw.
  • Die Erfindung wird an Hand eines Ausführungsbeispiels einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Schaukastens näher erläutert. Fig. 1 zeigt dieses in isometrischer Explosionsdarstellung.
  • Der quaderförmige Körper 1 des Schaukastens weist in seinem Inneren einen Rechner 6 und einen Flachbildschirm 8 auf einem Sockel 7 auf. Der Kastenkörper besteht aus Aluminium. Seine Abmessungen sind 680 x 930 x 80 mm, sodass diese Größe für das Format DIN A1 geeignet ist. Auf der Rückwand des Körpers ist ein Rechner 6 montiert, der über das Kabel 10 von außen mit Informationssignalen versorgt wird. Er erzeugt Bild- und Videosignale, die über eine Leitung 9 an den auf dem Sockel 7 montierten berührungsempfindlichen Flachbildschirm 8 geliefert werden. An den inneren Längswänden des Körpers befinden sich Leuchtstoffröhren 17. Stromversorgungskabel für Rechner und Leuchtstoffröhren sind vorhanden, hier jedoch nicht gezeigt.
  • Die rechteckige Schauwand 2 besteht aus einer lichtleitenden Acrylglasplatte 18 in einem Aluminiumrahmen 19. Dieser ist mit seiner Seitenkante 12 an der Seitenkante 11 des Körpers 1 mittels eines mit Gasdruckdämpfer gestützten Scharniers nach oben klappbar angeschlagen. Im unteren Bereich der Glasplatte ist ein Fenster 13 ausgeschnitten, das beim Zuklappen mit dem Bildschirm 8 kongruent ist.
  • Auf die Schauwand 2 wird das Poster 3 aufgelegt, das einen ebenfalls mit dem Bildschirm 8 kongruenten Ausschnitt 14 aufweist. Auf das Poster 3 wird die Schutzscheibe 4 aus klarem Kunststoff aufgelegt, das ebenfalls einen mit der Anzeigevorrichtung kongruenten Ausschnitt 15 besitzt.

Claims (11)

  1. Schaukasten (1) mit mindestens einer Schauwand (2) für Plakate, Poster und andere flächige Informationsträger, die ein Fenster (13) aufweist, durch das eine Anzeigevorrichtung (8) für digitale Bild- oder Videosignale sichtbar ist, und einer Signalquelle (6), die diese Signale erzeugt und vom Betrachter gesteuert werden kann, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Fenster einen Anteil von 5% bis 25% der Fläche der Schauwand einnimmt.
  2. Schaukasten nach Anspruch 1,dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Anzeigevorrichtung (8) ein berührungsempfindlicher Bildschirm ist.
  3. Schaukasten nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er Mittel für die Erzeugung und/oder Wiedergabe akustischer Signale aufweist.
  4. Schaukasten nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schauwand (2) einen abnehmbaren Halterahmen (5) aufweist, der ein Poster (3) und/oder ein Schutzblatt (4) halten kann.
  5. Schaukasten nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schauwand (2) und/oder der Halterahmen (5) an einer Seitenkante (11) klappbar angeschlagen ist.
  6. Schaukasten nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er Mittel (17) zur rückwärtigen Beleuchtung der Schauwand aufweist.
  7. Schaukasten nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er Speichermittel zur Versorgung der Signalquelle (6) mit Information umfasst.
  8. Schaukasten nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er Mittel für den drahtlosen oder drahtgebundenen Empfang von Signalen zur Versorgung des Rechners mit Information umfasst.
  9. Schaukasten nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Speichermittel ein digitaler Permanentspeicher ist.
  10. Schaukasten nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er mit Mitteln zur Identifizierung des Betrachters ausgerüstet ist.
  11. Schaukasten nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er mit einem die Signalquelle steuernden Bewegungssensor ausgerüstet ist.
