Abstract

A transaction terminal unit comprising a secure module (120) which is detachably fitted to a main body and has tampering resistance, and a non-secure module (110) which is built in the main body and has no tampering resistance. The secure module (120) comprises an LED control unit (125) to perform the control of informing secure information by an LED (124) when acquiring PIN information on customers necessary for the settlement (transaction), a keyboard (122) for acquiring PIN information, and an encryption unit (121) for encrypting the pin information. The non-secure module (110) comprises a CPU (111) which receives PIN information encrypted by the encryption unit (121) and performs the settlement by utilizing the PIN information.
