Definitions

  • facades It is known in building construction to clad the facades of erected buildings or to build facades on or in front of the external walls of buildings. It is also known to form such facades by attaching facade elements in the form of panels.
  • panels can, for example, comprise metal sheets such as steel sheets, aluminum sheets, stainless steel sheets or the like, or they can be made of plastic.
  • facade cladding or façades made of panels When constructing facade cladding or façades made of panels, a simple and efficient structure is desirable, as this leads to a reduction in the amount of work required and thus ultimately to lower costs. On the other hand, a durable and visually flawless design of the facade cladding or façade is desirable.
  • the aim of the present invention is to provide a solution to this problem.
  • the invention is particularly intended to provide a facade panel which, in particular as a component of a system to be specified with the invention with such facade panels, the above-mentioned requirements can fulfil, i.e. to enable a quick and clean construction of a facade cladding or a facade, in particular in such a way that even non-specialists can carry out such an assembly.
  • a facade panel according to the invention is formed in one piece and initially has an insertion section, which is arranged in particular at a first longitudinal end of the panel. It also has a spring clamp section, which is located in particular in the region of a second longitudinal end opposite the first longitudinal end of the panel. Between the sections mentioned, insertion section and spring clamp section, there extends a facade section with which the panel can in particular form a facade surface.
  • the facade section can in particular have a smooth, flat surface, but it can also be corrugated or structured in another way in order to give a facade formed using the panel a corresponding structure and appearance, such as a wooden look.
  • the facade panel according to the invention further comprises a fastening section, which can be arranged in particular at the second longitudinal end of the facade panel.
  • the spring clamp section of the facade panel is arranged between the facade section and the fastening section. This applies in particular in a longitudinal direction of the panel, seen from the second longitudinal end in the direction of the first longitudinal end, in particular along the one-piece facade panel.
  • the spring clamp section of the panel is designed to receive an insertion section of another, in particular an identical, to clamp and hold a facade panel, and/or the spring clamp section is a spring clamp section for clamping and holding an insertion section of another, in particular an identically constructed, facade panel.
  • the facade panel according to the invention is particularly well suited to being used in a quick and easy-to-implement structure for forming a facade. To do this, it is only necessary to insert such a facade panel with the insertion section into the spring clamp section of an already installed facade panel, so that this newly added facade panel is clamped and held therein.
  • the fastening section is now connected to the substrate, for example an external building wall.
  • the fastening section can be designed like a flange so that it rests flat on the substrate.
  • a simple type of fastening can be done, for example, by screwing or by using similar fastening means.
  • the fastening section has at least one recess for receiving a fastening means.
  • self-tapping screws can also be used, for example.
  • further facade panels of the same design can now be added to the structure of the facade, with the facade being constructed successively from top to bottom.
  • the recess can be formed by elongated holes, with the long extension extending in particular in the direction in which an expansion movement of the panel is to be expected.
  • the interaction of the insertion section and the spring clamp section makes it particularly easy to achieve an invisible fastening.
  • the insertion section can also cover the fastening section, which also makes this fastening invisible.
  • the facade section is spaced apart from the fastening section by a first clear dimension.
  • This first clear dimension creates a distance between the facade to be formed with the facade panel and the substrate, for example an external wall of a building. It also makes it possible to provide fastening means that protrude to a certain extent and then to cover these with further facade panels in the structure of the facade.
  • an extension plane in which the facade section extends, in particular at least predominantly or in its main extension direction is spaced apart from an extension plane in which the fastening section extends, in particular at least predominantly or in its main extension direction, by the first clear dimension.
  • the extension of the insertion section runs parallel to the extension direction of the facade section and in the same plane. This also ensures that facade panels according to the invention can be joined together by simply inserting the insertion section into the spring clamp section, in particular into a U-shaped spring clamp as described above.
  • the insertion section can in particular also be formed by a continuously formed end section of the facade section. In other words, a facade section that is essentially flat can continue continuously and merge into the insertion section, or the insertion section can ultimately be part of the facade section, namely its outer end section, in particular at the first longitudinal end of the facade panel.
  • a spacing can also occur in particular between the spring clamp section and the facade section in a direction transverse to a flat extension plane of the facade section.
  • a first spacing section can be arranged in particular between the spring clamp section and the facade section, in particular for spacing the spring clamp section from the facade section by a second clear dimension, which here in particular creates a corresponding distance, and in particular is designed in such a way that the spring clamp section is spaced from the facade section by a second clear dimension and wherein this second clear dimension is in particular at least 0.5 mm, a maximum of 10 cm, in particular at least 1 mm and/or a maximum of 5 cm.
  • the spring clamp section can advantageously run in an offset plane below the facade section, so that it is concealed and no longer visible when looking at a facade formed using facade panels according to the invention.
  • the spring clamp section can have a distance from the fastening section that is directed transversely to the plane of extension of the facade section.
  • a second spacing section can be provided between the spring clamp section and the fastening section, in particular for spacing the spring clamp section from the fastening section by a third clear dimension, which is in particular designed in such a way that the spring clamp section is spaced from the fastening section by a third clear dimension.
  • This third clear dimension can in particular be at least 1 mm, a maximum of 15 cm, in particular at least 5 mm and/or a maximum of 10 cm.
  • the U-shaped spring clamp can advantageously have a first and a second clamping section, wherein the first clamping section is formed by a first long leg of the U-shaped spring clamp and the second clamping section is formed by a second long leg of the U-shaped spring clamp and wherein the first and the second clamping section are connected via a connecting section formed by a transverse leg of the U-shaped spring clamp.
  • the first spacing section can extend in the direction of the facade section, in particular starting from a first common boundary of the first clamping section with the first spacing section, in which case a first distance between the first common boundary of the first clamping section with the first spacing section and a second common boundary of the second clamping section with the second spacing section is smaller than a second distance between a third common boundary of the first clamping section with the connecting section and a fourth common boundary of the second clamping section with the connecting section, so that in particular the spring clamp exerts a clamping effect between the first common boundary and the second common boundary and/or the first distance is smaller than 1 cm, in particular smaller than 3 mm.
  • Such a design results in a pocket-like spring clamp which exerts its clamping effect on the inserted insertion section of another panel in the region of the first and second common boundaries, i.e. close to its pocket opening.
  • the facade panel according to the invention can consist in particular of metal, in particular a metal sheet, in particular a metal sheet with a thickness of at least 1 ⁇ m , in particular at least 0.4 mm, and/or a maximum of 5 mm, in particular a maximum of 1.5 mm.
  • metal in particular a metal sheet, in particular a metal sheet with a thickness of at least 1 ⁇ m , in particular at least 0.4 mm, and/or a maximum of 5 mm, in particular a maximum of 1.5 mm.
  • a plastic in particular a plastic in the form of a sheet.
  • Possible metals are aluminum, stainless steel, copper, zinc or the like.
  • the facade section can advantageously extend over a length determined from the first longitudinal end to the second longitudinal end of at least 10 cm and/or a maximum of 10 m, in particular a maximum of 6 m or 3 m, and over a width measured transversely to this length of at least 10 cm and/or a maximum of 10 m, in particular 6 m, in particular 3 m.
  • the facade panel can advantageously have a substantially rectangular or square contour.
  • a further solution to the problem mentioned at the outset also consists in a system which initially has at least one first and at least one second panel, wherein at least one first panel is a first facade panel according to the invention.
