Claims (15)

  1. Sicherheitsdokument (10) mit:
    einem Substrat (1), das eine erste Schicht (16) aufweist, wobei die erste Schicht (16) eine erste Vertiefung (36) in einer ersten Oberfläche (17) der ersten Schicht (16) aufweist;
    einem Sicherheitsmerkmal (3), das in dem Substrat (1) ausgebildet ist, wobei das Sicherheitsmerkmal (3) eine Sicherheitsschicht (26) aufweist, die auf kontinuierliche Weise auf der ersten Oberfläche (17) der ersten Schicht (16) und in der ersten Vertiefung (36) vorgesehen ist;
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    ein Materialflicken (20) zumindest teilweise in der ersten Vertiefung (36) und auf der Sicherheitsschicht (26) angeordnet ist.
  2. Sicherheitsdokument nach Anspruch 1, bei dem an einem Übergang zwischen der ersten Oberfläche (17) und der ersten Vertiefung (36) eine Stufe (22) in der Sicherheitsschicht (26) ausgebildet ist.
  3. Sicherheitsdokument nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei dem der Materialflicken (20) eine Größe aufweist, die einer Größe der ersten Vertiefung (36) entspricht, bevorzugt, bei dem eine Dicke des Materialflickens in einer Tiefenrichtung (d) der ersten Vertiefung (36) im Wesentlichen dieselbe wie eine Tiefe der ersten Vertiefung (36) in der Tiefenrichtung ist.
  4. Sicherheitsdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, bei dem ein Niveauunterschied (ld) zwischen einem oberen Teil der Sicherheitsschicht (26), der auf der ersten Oberfläche (17) vorgesehen ist, und einem unteren Teil der Sicherheitsschicht (26), der in der ersten Vertiefung (36) vorgesehen ist, zwischen etwa 50 µm und etwa 600 µm, bevorzugt zwischen etwa 100 µm und etwa 500 µm, bevorzugter zwischen etwa 150 µm und etwa 300 µm, beispielsweise etwa 250 µm beträgt.
  5. Sicherheitsdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei dem sich die erste Vertiefung (36) derart durch die erste Schicht (16) erstreckt, dass sie in einer entgegengesetzten Oberfläche (19) der ersten Schicht (16) geöffnet ist.
  6. Sicherheitsdokument nach Anspruch 5, bei dem die Sicherheitsschicht (26) in der ersten Vertiefung (36) im Wesentlichen mit der entgegengesetzten Oberfläche (19) abschließt.
  7. Sicherheitsdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, bei dem die erste Schicht (16) ein Datenelement (40) aufweist, das zumindest zum Teil durch die Sicherheitsschicht (26) in der ersten Vertiefung (36) umgeben ist.
  8. Sicherheitsdokument nach Anspruch 7, bei dem die Sicherheitsschicht (26) in der ersten Vertiefung (36) das Datenelement (40) vollständig umgibt.
  9. Sicherheitsdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, bei dem die erste Vertiefung (36) als eine Nut ausgebildet ist, die sich entlang einer Umfangsrichtung des Substrats (1) erstreckt, bevorzugt als eine kontinuierliche Nut mit einer Ringform.
  10. Sicherheitsdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, bei dem sich die erste Vertiefung (36) von einer Außenumfangsfläche (31) des Substrats (1) erstreckt.
  11. Sicherheitsdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, bei dem der Materialflicken (20) transparent ist und optional aus demselben Material wie die erste Schicht (16) besteht, beispielsweise Polycarbonat, PVC, PET oder andere Kunststoffmaterialien.
  12. Sicherheitsdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, bei dem die Sicherheitsschicht (26) in ein oder mehreren zweiten Vertiefungen (37, 39), die in der ersten Oberfläche (17) ausgebildet sind, vorgesehen ist und durch entsprechende Materialflicken (21, 23) bedeckt ist.
  13. Sicherheitsdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, bei dem das Sicherheitsdokument eine Datenseite eines Passes oder dergleichen ist und ein Scharnier (3) aufweist, an dem das Substrat (1) angebracht ist, und sich die Sicherheitsschicht (26) kontinuierlich von der ersten Schicht (16) in das Scharnier (3) erstreckt.
  14. Sicherheitsdokument nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, bei dem die Sicherheitsschicht (36) ein Muster oder ein Bild, das auf die erste Oberfläche (17) gedruckt ist, oder eine lagenartige Sicherheitsstruktur, die auf die erste Schicht (17) aufgebracht ist, beispielsweise ein DOVID-Band oder eine DOVID-Lage, ist.
  15. Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Sicherheitsdokuments (10), mit:
    Bereitstellen einer ersten Schicht (16) eines Substrats (1);
    Ausbilden einer Sicherheitsschicht (26) auf einer ersten Oberfläche (17) der ersten Schicht (16), beispielsweise durch Drucken eines Musters oder Bilds auf die erste Schicht (16) oder durch Aufbringen einer lagenartigen Sicherheitsstruktur auf die erste Schicht (16), beispielsweise ein DOVID-Band oder eine DOVID-Lage;
    Ausbilden einer Vertiefung (40) in der ersten Schicht (16) an einer Position, die der Sicherheitsschicht (26) entspricht;
