Abstract

A smooth-running floor cleaning device based on the spray extraction method, with a spray nozzle (2) for dispensing a cleaning liquid on a floor and a suction nozzle (6) for aspirating said cleaning liquid, can also be used as a device for mechanically treating said floor. This can be achieved in a technically simple manner and without practically adding any weight to said device by means of a row of bristles (13), pivoting around an axis parallel to the suction opening (8) of the suction nozzle (6), which extends along the whole width of said nozzle.
